I would highly recommend this opticians. The staff, especially Sam, are knowledgeable and patient. The manager is clearly doing a fantastic job and really explains things and goes out of his way to make sure customers are not kept waiting and is always on the shop floor actively working with his staff. first I would like to thank Hanni apologies if spelt it wrong he went above and beyond to help me first class service from him and stuck with me till my eyes was right all the staff and optician was brilliant bar 1 man I came in today to try and get me glasses fit right as they was slightly off and nose pads was cutting in to my nose young gentleman outstanding he was trying to help me but older short man with bold head came over and stopped him doint no his name and told him to hurry up in not nice way I’ve heard him spk like this before no need so he had to stop to help someone with same problem I was told to wait out side for hour by him knowing I have ptsd and knew I couldn’t do that so had to go home twice I’ve met him both times he’s bin unprofessional so had to leave with pads cutting my nose and glasses digging in to my nerves now have nose bleed please don’t let this put you off just because of 1 man the rest are 10/10 just pain I have to go back to see someone else to help me I just woint deal with him but I recommend this place best place I’ve been to by far and would like to thank the rest of the staff
Great check-up, friendly staff and happy to explain everything. It was busy for a Saturday morning with a lot of staff on the shop floor, which is why I was surprised by the state of the glasses they have on display - absolutely filthy. Most of them were so gross, you could barely see yourself out of them in the mirror.
Arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. Signed in and was told to sit down. Waited 20 mins past my appointment time and then asked the front desk how far behind they were running. At this point I discovered that I’d not been signed in and was just waiting there for no reason. The optician who then did my eye test was super friendly and helpful. It just wasn’t the best customer experience due to me waiting for no reason.
The test was very professional. All staff were very helpful. Made you feel special. A young man called Sam was lovely. Helped me get my NHS discount. Sam is a great staff member in your employ. Would not hesitate to return. Thank you.
