I have stayed at this branch twice now via Carefree and it is outstanding! The staff go absolutely out of their way above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The facilities are clean, of high quality, convenient and appealing - my 7 year old son used the swimming facilities twice a day! The breakfast was easy to use, tasty and enjoyable. As a full time carer to my mother and son, my life has been transformed by using this hotel and I am looking for last minute deals to return. The room service made me feel so pampered and the food from the pub was divine. I wish we could visit every month, and my son has been asking when we can return too. I have to say your greatest asset arguably and every credit needs to be given is a young man working in the pub at the bar who both times I visited bent over backwards to make ordering and getting service as easy as possible for me. He was so polite, sweet and kind I think he deserves an employee of the month reward. I’m your number one fan Village Hotel Manchester Hyde, from a very exhausted and grateful carer 😍🥰
I went into the pub last night for some food and the service was brilliant. Brodie was really helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and came out quickly. All round great service!
I would like to give a special shout out to a very industrious young lady working yesterday in the Starbucks coffee at the Village Hotel in Hyde. I observed her calm demeanour in a potential stressful situation. Her name was Charlie , she dealt with the sudden influx of eager customers. She kept her calm , she smiled throughout the very busy period. Nobody complained. Everyone got served in a professional manner. I am not one for writing reviews, but Charlie deserves an excellent one. She was so calm and proficient . It was a pleasure to witness her professionalism . Well done Charlie 👏
Just been for breakfast at the Village Hotel in Ashton I was told that there was no hot food so I had a trip up to the Village Hotel in Hyde where they are now charging £17.50 ahead for £35 for two people People and a breakfast was shocking it’s not worth the money I wouldn’t bother going. Do not even entertain it. You could go into Manchester through a lot better places for a lot less cheap cheaper than that. Absolute rip-off and the service isn’t great just with young kids serving food isn’t amazing overall poor experience. I was told after I paid the £35 that there is an option for customers to pay only a certain amount as they’re not satisfied with the service but this was not told to me until afterwards it wasn’t just a service. It was the price that I was not surprised with or happy with don’t bother going stay away. They spend more in the waste of the food trust me I’ve worked in this industry a long time absolutely disgusting.
Stayed here loads of times. Even had my wedding here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Daniel the maintenance guy who went out of his way to help me with my luggage. Such a lovely gentleman.
