I would like to give a special shout out to a very industrious young lady working yesterday in the Starbucks coffee at the Village Hotel in Hyde. I observed her calm demeanour in a potential stressful situation. Her name was Charlie , she dealt with the sudden influx of eager customers. She kept her calm , she smiled throughout the very busy period. Nobody complained. Everyone got served in a professional manner. I am not one for writing reviews, but Charlie deserves an excellent one. She was so calm and proficient . It was a pleasure to witness her professionalism . Well done Charlie 👏
I stay at the Village Hotel Hyde regularly for work, and the staff always make me feel welcome. A special thanks to Debbie at breakfast—she greets me with a smile, knows my preferences, and makes mornings enjoyable with her friendly chats. Simon at reception is also fantastic, always checking in on how my day was and ensuring I have my invoice ready without asking. The team is attentive and quick to resolve any issues, like when they moved me to another room after a problem with the window lock. Their excellent service keeps me coming back!
Car park is shocking if your in a van no signs stating there is a one way system in place and also a low bridge on the exit , find yourself having to drive round the one way the wrong way to exit . Needs some signs in place quickly. Room was ok extractor fan broken and the corridor stung of weed did report this to reception.
Had a wonderful time here with my partner. Was a great hotel, very clean and stuff were just amazing! Would come again !
A bit out the way for the centre of Manchester, and shops are a bit of a walk, but the train station is 5 mins walk away and you can get a 330 bus from outside for those who don't drive However the staff and management make the whole experience worthwhile and they are so friendly and accommodate where possible The rooms are very clean, and regular maintenance is carried out The food is fantastic, although a little pricey but saying this is did eat in a couple of times, its just a shame the main eating area is in the bar, which can be loud, while football/darts are on All in all some minor issues but not overpowering the overall stay Well done
