Up Fitness Laurence Nekooie My experience during the last three months with 2-3 times work out at UP Fitness Manchester have been absolutely exceeding my expectations. I chose UP Fitness because of the 1-2-1 approach with a designated PT supported by the app to be accountable for food and work out in support of this lifestyle change. Not only did I gain strength, lost the desired and aimed 8kg but I also gained clarity and confidence. I train horses and my core strength and balance are important; after several injuries, I am aware of an aging body and am interested in a long term fitness regime. My designated PT Laurence NeKooie is always responsive to questions, finds settings and routines aiming exactly to improve my fitness to help me improve in my other Sport. My performance went noticeably up in the % I gained with my horses in dressage and I gained success in several Championships. The sessions are always challenging and improving my strength. Engaging with UP Fitness and starting this new fitness regime made me settle in Manchester - we moved a bit over a year ago from Germany and every move (in total 12) takes it time and toll to find a healthy routine. I am aware of my aging body and with 55 years and having been engaged in competitive Golf, Tennis and Riding, my goal is it to age as fit as I can. I have just completed my 6 months training program with Juris. What an experience. Great trainer, kind (all other trainers too), and motivated me to hit my target. I did not think I was going to get the best results for me, but I have done better than I thought. Resistance training is the way forward. In just 27 weeks, I lost 2 stone, in pounds, 28lb, and kilo 13kg. I feel happier and definitely healthier. I would highly recommend training with ultimate performance. I not only lost weight, but everything else has changed from what I eat now, my day to day habits such as sleep, drinking water, and steps have all improved for the better. If I need any advice or help with anything, they don't just let you go and forget I can contact him with any questions I have. I will attach my pictures so you can see the changes for yourselves. 100% worth it.
I’ve been training with Isobel at UP for 9 months and have loved the whole experience. The training sessions Izzy programmed have been constantly challenging (yet strangely fun?!) and have pushed me beyond what I believed my capability could be. I initially signed up for 12 weeks prior to a half marathon to help with my running performance but the results I’ve achieved have exceeded my expectations and inspired me to believe I can achieve more, especially in the gym. Izzy is knowledgable and supportive, keeping me accountable and challenging my mindset when needed. The nutritional advice and guidance she has given me has been invaluable - and most importantly actually feels sustainable for the future. I’m currently six weeks into my twelve week course at UP and making the decision to enroll at UP Manchester is the best thing I’ve ever done for my own personal improvement. My personal trainer Noel Robertson is extremely professional in his approach to my success, his attention to detail in ensuring my technique for each exercise is perfected and efficient helps me to constantly progress the volume of my workout. The atmosphere and vibe in the gym makes it the perfect place to pause from your daily life and focus on your own personal performance and achieve the results you deserve.
I have just finished 12 weeks at ultimate performance and I can honestly say this is the best decision I could have made for my health and fitness. I have tried lots of gyms and diets in the past and never got close to results they have helped me achieve in 12 weeks. The whole team and the environment there is great and everyone is very friendly and encouraging. Adam has been excellent throughout this process and has been a really good balance of accountability encouragement and education. He literally checks in everyday and is always on hand if I have any questions.
