The staff in this hotel have been A* during our stay. Starting with breakfast. unlimited buffet style breakfast with hot food, cereals, different types of coffee is great Robert and Simmone have been excellent as hosts in the morning very warm and friendly. constantly keeping the hot foods topped up. Staff during the day and evening have been warm and friendly and very kind. Sarah, Brandon, Louis and Tiffany have all been very easy to deal with always smiling and always friendly which has made our stay as a family a delight. Steve has been excellent whilst we have been here I couldn't of had a better experience when he had dealt with us. Becky as well has been top with us during our stay dealing with our needs brilliantly. All the staff have been warm and welcoming so thank you very much it means a lot
The Travelodge chain offers no frills accommodation at a good price. The Stockport travelodge is clean and appears to have been recently redecorated. I spent a comfortable and quiet night there and felt that the all you can eat breakfast was good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s easily accessible from Manchester Airport (take the 199 bus. It’s close to the station too) making it useful for overnighting before or after a flight. As an added bonus, the runaway brewery is 2 minutes walk away, offering excellent beers and a pizza if hungry (check opening hours- not open every day).
I always stay here when I need a hotel, not had a bad experience while staying here. Polite staff members, bus station round the corner. Rooms clean.
Small room for 2 adults online it showed 2 bed they gave us one . Make sure you check properly. Also the room had a very bad smell that i think it was coming from the toilet but it was so strong and it was hard to sleep. I had to wake up early 6am and leave as I couldn’t stay longer. Room 317 🤮
I had heard some colleagues mention this hotel was a little ropey but I was pleasantly surprised that check in was smooth even though I rocked up around 10pm. The room was basic and the duvet and pillows were average at best however I got a decent night's sleep and the breakfast was better than the Holiday inn express. Would stay again but maybe bring a better pillow!
