I had heard some colleagues mention this hotel was a little ropey but I was pleasantly surprised that check in was smooth even though I rocked up around 10pm. The room was basic and the duvet and pillows were average at best however I got a decent night's sleep and the breakfast was better than the Holiday inn express. Would stay again but maybe bring a better pillow!
Had an enjoyable one night stay at the hotel midweek Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue we found wasn't so much to do with the hotel But it's location is right next to a bus lane restriction we drove passed the hotel firsty not knowing the entrance into the Travelodge parking and within seconds the road turns into a bus lane Yes was fine £30 trying to park at rear of the lodge
Stayed here Sunday 8th and Monday 9th ,came up from Wales. Staff were polite and friendly, the was nice and clean. The main issue is the travelodge has no parking and outside is a Heaton lane bus gate ,by mistake looking for the entrance to a car park opposite which sat nav sent me to. So £30 out of pocket. You are best staying at the Red rock car park .Free parking 6pm to 6am also you can use a app to pay ,called RingGo .
I'm in Stockport every week for work purposes and stay here almost every time. It's central, clean, well priced, does a really good breakfast with a wide selection and has recently been refurbished so feels up to date and well presented.
Overall, an average one night stay . Everything was just ok , luckily didn't try and Park in the car park over the road . The mattress was a bit hard and not super great. The breakfast was a basic , cooked food left out all morning nothing made to order , bit of a letdown . The coffee was awful from the machine.
