The staff were fantastic! Parking was difficult, because of construction work,but we were aware of this so prepared for it. The room was clean though the beds a bit hard??? We ate in the cafe bar, the food is basic but reasonably priced! The unlimited breakfast is extremely good value for money! All in all, really good night's stay, would definitely use again!
Had a lovely stay here last night Staff were fabulous Rooms were spotless Breakfast was excellent Hotel is within easy walking distance for the apollo if your needing somewhere to stay for a gig would definitely recommend.
Considering it's one of the refurbished hotels, it's ok, definitely not sound proof. Freezing cold in the rooms and the heater wouldn't go up, no liquid soap in dispensers. Water temperature and pressure very low/cold. Tight on tea and sugar, long wait for anyone in reception area, staff in bar did not inform us of deals for food and drink. Overall considering we've stayed in a few Travelodge's this was definitely the worst. Won't be going back again
Cheap,clean, tidy city centerish location with helpful staff. Bed was comfortable room had walk in shower with clean fresh towels and was quite despite the location. Car park is currently limited due to building work but there are Q park and other options locally. Breakfast was yogurt choices with croissants and porridge in a tub option. Lots of coffee,tea and fruit juices. Staff very helpful and courteous. Car park was £6 for 24 hours. Accessible for less able with clean lift.
Since when did Travel Lodge stop using 100% cotton sheets. If we can't get a decent night's sleep what's the point in staying here. Very disappointing I have been using Travel lodge for decades.
