Good hotel, rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is good, sausages a tad greasy, cannot comment on lunch/dinner as I didn't have. Location is tolerable, with independent restaurants, a Subway and a Tesco Express down the road, buses running consistently, and Ubers nearby always, it's an okay hotel. Extra star for being
The staff were fantastic! Parking was difficult, because of construction work,but we were aware of this so prepared for it. The room was clean though the beds a bit hard??? We ate in the cafe bar, the food is basic but reasonably priced! The unlimited breakfast is extremely good value for money! All in all, really good night's stay, would definitely use again!
The best staff are here... The company should send new employees (and a lot of existing ones) here to learn how to do best customer service. Every single member of staff genuinely cared about giving top notch customer service. Special shout out to Noora, but they are all fantastic
Considering it's one of the refurbished hotels, it's ok, definitely not sound proof. Freezing cold in the rooms and the heater wouldn't go up, no liquid soap in dispensers. Water temperature and pressure very low/cold. Tight on tea and sugar, long wait for anyone in reception area, staff in bar did not inform us of deals for food and drink. Overall considering we've stayed in a few Travelodge's this was definitely the worst. Won't be going back again
Good price if booked early...... Car parking was extra £7 . Rooms are clean and tidy and a good base to start your travels from also handy for the Apollo for gigs
