Excellent family room. Spacious and cot provided. Fairly quiet even with all the scaffolding and building work. Limited parking but reasonable if you find a spot (£6 per 24hrs)
Located very near to the University of Melbourne and the Royal Infirmary of Manchester. No frills clean rooms. Decent size and comfortable. Towels, coffee and tea provided. Wifi is payable. There is cafe / food area that serves beer and alcohol. Food is nothing great.
Very over-priced, due to location, with limited parking due to building works and plant taking up all the spaces. Had to leave vehicle on a quiet back street and hope for the best. Staff were pleasant enough but the room was gloomy and cold on arrival (open window). You expect basic in a Travelodge but the price of an overnight stay didn’t reflect that.
Staff are lovely & the location is good - a short stroll to "curry mile", across the road from the hospital if you need it, and on the 50 bus route in to the city centre. Be aware that, late Aug/early Sept 2024, there is scaffolding around the hotel. Opaque film is over the room windows. Car park is ~1/3 normal size.
Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. The bathroom smelt so bad throughout my 3 day stay. When I asked to move rooms I was told the hotel was fully booked -this seemed very unlikely given it was a Tuesday and I could still book another room online. There were works ongoing on the hotel which meant my window was blurred out and could not be left opened, which meant I couldn't even air the room to try and get rid of the smell. Majority of staff were absolutely lovely though!
