Hotel is well located in town Most of the staff within the hotel were very friendly like Lynne and Eleanor. Our biggest compliment is to the extraordinary and friendly service of Lynne and Eleanor, they were so helpful, warmth, professional, welcoming and courteous and went above and beyond to look after us Absolutely fab! Super helpful and really friendly, a credit to the hotel, For me they were really stood out and took it to 5 stars.

Right in the city centre, great for trains, shops, bars etc, yet rooms still quiet enough for a great night's sleep. Clean, modern, comfortable, and good vfm. Friendly and efficient staff (thank you Matthew for the excellent sightseeing tips 😁). Would definitely stay here again A+

I see a lot of Travelodge Hotel but this one is really impressive. The card is not working easy to get access on the corridor or rooms but with 10-20 try you will succeed. TV very small with limited channel. Rooms are clean and tidied. You have a lot of utility. Is a good place for a small rest when you need a hotel. I will come again.

I booked a super room for £158.99 because it was my daughters 15th birthday on the day of our stay, 22nd March and we wanted to make it a little more special by booking the super room which had some nice advertised features, which we all, as a family were looking forward to. Upon check in we were allocated room 519. Upon entering the room, although it had been cleaned there were still the last occupants items in the room. A rucksack, some trousers on the bed, a phone charger and a shirt hung up. We returned to reception to clear up this matter, and after some time we were told they couldnt remove the items, nor did they know whos they were? Unfortunately no more family super room suites were available and we were allocated room 427, given a pack of kit kats and a free breakfast as compensation, this was prior to seeing room 427, and actually we had other plans for breakfast but we agreed. The room was not what we wanted, no Lavazza coffee machine, no mood lighting, no hairdryer, no lock on the bathroom door, no 32 inch tv and no Hansgrove Raindance shower. The free breakfast as a compensation was terrible, my son didnt even eat his and he loves a hotel breakfast. it was tasteless. So the main memory my daughter will take away from her birthday stay in Manchester was how Travelodge let us down.Shame. We usually always stay at Premier Inn wherever we go, and Im afraid we will be doing so in the future. On top of that, the key card entry systems were terrible, other residents we spoke to told of their randomness in working and not working. The windows in the room didnt shut properly and no air con!!! The room was stale and stuffy.

Travelodge Manchester Review – Great Location & Service, but Rooms Could Be Better I recently stayed at the Travelodge in Manchester and had a mostly positive experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to access key areas of the city, whether for business or leisure. Public transport connections are convenient, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in was smooth, and any requests were handled efficiently. However, the rooms are on the smaller side. While they are clean and have the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay, they could be a bit more spacious and better equipped. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and freshen up, it does the job, but for longer stays or if you need more space, it might feel a bit cramped. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly option with a prime location and good service, but the room size could be improved.
