Amazing location very central and ideal to get to tram and shopping areas. Room basic, had no air con, with 28 degree heat outside this made the room very stuffy. Can't open windows. Also, we were told 2 coffee sachets a day, when we used these, they weren't replenished even tho we left the sign on the door. Went to reception and asked for some and were told we can have a maximum of 2 per room a day. For a 180 quid stay you'd expect a bit better to be honest.
Very convenient location and friendly staff. Rooms appear to have either a view or opening windows. Not very good in somewhere without air conditioning and only 1 of the 2 windows in our room actually opened. Very slightly at that. Bed and pillows were rubbish, ensuring that we both had a poor night's sleep. In the bathroom the extractor fan didn't work, the water pressure was pathetic and there was no hand soap.
Travelodge Manchester Review – Great Location & Service, but Rooms Could Be Better I recently stayed at the Travelodge in Manchester and had a mostly positive experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to access key areas of the city, whether for business or leisure. Public transport connections are convenient, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in was smooth, and any requests were handled efficiently. However, the rooms are on the smaller side. While they are clean and have the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay, they could be a bit more spacious and better equipped. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and freshen up, it does the job, but for longer stays or if you need more space, it might feel a bit cramped. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly option with a prime location and good service, but the room size could be improved.
5 stars all around great service by Lynne. She escorted me to the taxi rank as I had issues with my mobility and went over and above 5 stars. Also the kitchen staff helped me get my breakfast as I couldn't walk with a tray and my walking crutches.
Right in the city centre, great for trains, shops, bars etc, yet rooms still quiet enough for a great night's sleep. Clean, modern, comfortable, and good vfm. Friendly and efficient staff (thank you Matthew for the excellent sightseeing tips 😁). Would definitely stay here again A+
