6 of us tayed for a night and booked 3 double rooms. Firstly, welcomed by security who directed us to the reception on first floor. At the reception we had a lovely greeting and they seemed genuinely interested in why we were staying. Took just a few minutes to book in and to advise about the stay and what we could expect from the hotel. Got to the room and it was very clean, simple layout and very comfortable bed. Free tea and coffee, soaps and clean towels. Shower was lovely and warm, plenty of power sockets for chargers. Went to restaurant and order the very reasonably priced light bites. Food was very nice, waited a short while but this was due to a large order before us and all food cooked to order so very happy to wait. Beers were nice and area was clean and tidy. The workers were again awesome and couldn't do enough for you. Overall, very good value for money and I will not hesitate to go back!
A warm welcome from Lynne on arrival a comfortable room, excellent breakfast and convenient location all made for a very happy stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The only (minor) criticism is re the design of the shower which tended to flood the bathroom.
Chose the Travelodge for a weekend over for a football match. We had an early check in but the room wasn’t ready which was not a good start to the trip and we needed to get to the venue asap so the added stress was very unwelcome. Eventually we were given a substitute room to store our bags & the staff moved our stuff later into the correct room. Bar & restaurant on site - can’t fault any of it. The breakfast was lovely and good choice from the buffet - nice ingredients and we left full and happy. Would definitely book again - the family superroom is more than adequate for the type of stay we required. We’re not that fussy on hotel rooms as long as as they’re clean, spacious etc then that’s all we need. Gave 3 stars for the service as felt the situation with the room could have been avoided - why offer an early check in (that you pay additional for) if you can’t accommodate? This needs looked at and managed better, otherwise don’t offer the service.
Ideally situated across from Piccadilly gardens. Easy to find from train station. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were lovely. I use a wheelchair and found the access great. The room, lifts and food/ bar area were easily negotiated in my wheelchair. Throughout my stay the staff were amazing. Quick to help and very friendly. The atmosphere was warm and cosy. Had breakfast and evening meal and quality and value excellent. Would definitely stay here again and cannot praise all the staff highly enough.
We stayed one night recently. Welcomed by Charlotte who showed genuine interest in us and purpose of our visit. Room was spotless, comfortable and very quiet at night. Perfect location for the city. Breakfast was great. Full choice and nicely cooked. Would definitely stay again.
