Standard simple room, good nights sleep. Cheap and good value for money. Service at breakfast from Mike and Ali was so friendly. Perfect northern hospitality. They really went out of their way to show you everything and make sure your experience was good.
had a lovely experience staying for a night for a concert! location is perfect being 5 minutes away from manchester arena and the city centre :) Mandy was very kind and helpful at the reception when we arrived and had put me and my sister in neighbouring rooms which was super !! bed was very comfy and room was a lot more spacious than I expected, room was super cheap for the night and I will definitely be staying again should I have any concerts in the area! only complaint I have is the toilet didn't flush properly and was a bit annoying 🥲 which is why I've bumped it down to 4 stars
Me and 3 friends were staying in Manchester for a night for a concert, having never been there before. Initially, we were not meant to be staying at the Travelodge, but after an incredibly frustrating and unjust interaction with the hotel we had booked, we turned to the Travelodge in desperate need of a place to stay as young adults in an unfamiliar city. We were welcomed so kindly by the staff, and assured that others had been in the same situation and they were more than happy to accommodate for us. I must mention Mandi (I hope that I've got the spelling correct), one of the staff who was so understanding and helpful to us, and who we are so grateful to. The room was very spacious and exactly what we needed to be able to relax after a busy day.
Good travelodge - the night before we stayed in Manchester Central Arena which was more modern, but this room was much bigger. A massive bonus was that we could park our car - we parked it around midday on Saturday for 28 hours and it was £14 which was great - and our room actually overlooked the car park so we could keep an eye on it! Room on first floor on a Saturday night but was very quiet. Friendly staff, and fantastic location, but unfortunately just not fully up to par of it's nearby sister hotel.
Refurbed room, comfy bed pillows for a goodnight’s sleep, fresh white towels and super clean toilet. Friendly helpful staff. Quick check in and swift check out. Location is central to everything shops, restaurants, arndale shopping center and walk away to victoria train station. Only complain was the noise from garbage truck picking up trash nearby that woke us up early in the morning.
