Great location, right in the center of the city with everything on your doorstep. This made my trip very handy indeed. The hotel itself is a lovely old building. The room was spacious, the bar well stocked and the staff were friendly and attentive. Florinda was particularly attentive (so a nice little shout out to her), overall the staff at this hotel were great.
In the city centre walking distance to everything. There was an issue with my booking which was thankfully sorted out by Katie. Katie's customer service was fantastic, she was lovely to deal with and the main reason for the 5 starts.
Really should be a 5 star review. Traveled all across the UK recently, and this was hands down the best hotel for the price point. The heated towel rack and steam free mirror was a nice touch. The negative. My credit card was charged yesterday, and I have no idea what for. No one told me. My credit card company actually blocked my card as they thought a hotel in a foreign country charging such a small amount was suspicious. Also, I arrived early and was happy to wait as their check-in clearly states 3pm. The employee with red hair told me it was 3pm and so I could wait in the chair. No issue, as I was 30 minutes early. Then I see the brunette employee assign other guests their room early. When the red-headed employee went to the washroom, I tried asking the brunette. She said my room was ready and I could check-in.
We visited this restaurant with our family for lunch, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food was delicious, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. What truly stood out was the incredible service – Jev head chef were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and top-notch hospitality!
