I have just changed my optician from one of the big chains. Best decision I’ve made. The staff, without exception are professional, friendly and dedicated to customer service. Unlike the big chains there was no attempt to push unnecessary extras and they explained my options clearly, resulting in glasses perfectly in line with my needs. Turnaround on new lenses was very fast compared to my previous supplier who would take weeks before they arrived. The offices and environment are very bright pleasant with well-run reception and helpful staff. Going to a small dedicated business for me is now a no-brainer. The large chains may have financial clout but VOP is just as well equipped and customer service is miles ahead compared to my previous optician
I have visited The Village Optician for a number of years now. I can honestly say that I have always been treated with care, respect and in a professional manner. The optician has always explained to me what is happening on the eye tests, how (and if) my sight has changed and the same has applied when I have been having scans etc. they were very patient with me when I was trying to make a change from glasses to contact lenses. I have a passion for glasses, the brighter the better, and Benji has always indulged me in this passion, allowing me to take the time to try different styles, giving me advice on fit, explaining the benefits of certain styles (frameless, weight, suit to my face etc) before I make my final decision. I have always felt welcomed by all the staff at The Village Optician and greeted with a friendly smile.
