Good, pretty typical small European hotel experience. Older building but good price for the location. 24 hour front desk was very nice and helpful. Rooms were a little dated but had everything we needed. We would probably stay here again.
Fantastic location in Central Manchester our room was good clean and tidy only let down was poor shower that was just a cold dribble. I mentioned it to reception who knew about the problem and we're trying to sort it. The only other thing to mention is there is no lift and stairs are steep and narrow be warned. Breakfast was just buffet style with usual choice of things. I would stay again for a cheeky night but would not be my first choice 😂
The room was very warm and you couldn't open the windows to let in air and there is NO LIFT so if you have a bad back this is not the hotel to stay in you have to pull you suitcase behind you go up 3 floors. I ask to cleaner 3 time to put toilet roll in our room which they didn't. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff are amazing and the breakfast is delicious. But other then that this hotel needs to improve on getting a lift and getting the floors done and rooms up to date. Floor are squeaky and uneven you can hear every foot step when people walk pass your room. Not acceptable.
Fantastic location and really friendly and accommodating staff. Room is fairly dated - creaky floors and old bathroom, but nothing terrible. If rooms were updated, I'd give this place 5 stars
The hotel is really well situated, and they had everything we needed. It was easy to check in. They have a 24-hour reception, good breakfast, and clean sheets. What's to complain about?... Sure, the water pressure could be better in the shower, and it's a wee bit scruffy round the edges, but it's otherwise clean, safe, and very accommodating.
