The location of the hotel is perfect, easy to visit the city and is in the heart of the city center. The hotel personal is very friendly and helpful. The spa is great as well which is included inside the room fee. The breakfast is nice with different food.
I must say I had a tremendous stay at the Midland. The staff was lovely, location was spot on, and access to the spa was a top-notch cherry on that cake. The pinnacle is the lifts, which are very cleverly designed: instead of going up and down, floors are being swapped and rearranged around you. It happens in such a flash you could almost believe it was a regular lift. Nevertheless the magic happens flawlessly every time.
Very high improvement in the lounge and bar service area. I visit regularly, the team is very helpful and the service is great. Juan and the team has been really helpful and welcoming each time I visit and always providing me with excellent food and drink recommendation. The jazz music vibes are really great . Thank you for the wonderful service.
The hotel is lovely and grand, reception and bar areas are great. The room was lovely and big and had everything we needed. My only complaint is the noise when the trams start at 5am. We were on the mezzanine floor and it was very loud, and kept us awake from dawn. You can feel the room shake when they go by, so try and get a room higher up if you can. Other than that, great.
Nice hotel with lovely common areas. The AC unit was falling off the wall in the bedroom and the bathroom needed updating. Breakfast was nice however we made drinks and toast and left them on the table to get hot food as it's a buffet, came back to the table and it had been cleared away so it was a little rushed and had a canteen feel. The spa areas were nice however you can't pre-book and not guaranteed to get in even though you're a paying guest. Overall I enjoyed it, but there are others at the same price which offer a better all round experience.
