We love staying at this hotel and returned having booked the summer special DBB rate. This suited us perfectly, with car parking, breakfast, £35 per person towards food and even a bottle of wine for our meal. To top it off we received a room upgrade, which we were really pleased about. We enjoyed the food in the bar and the service is always excellent. The staff at check in and out were really friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be returning to the Lowry for a treat break
The hotel is very modern from the outside and inside but it doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location and the restaurant and food was OK not great. My suite was large and bed was comfortable. I was expecting a lot more from the hotel but I didn't connect. OK hotel.

We stayed at the riverside suite, which was a great room and the hotel itself was in a fantastic location, with parking located right next door. However, you are provided with only one bottle of water per day, which at the price point is ridiculous, especially when this is considered to be a five star hotel. There was also an unpleasant tone from staff when I asked for the car parking code, which I did not appreciate. I hope this was just an unlucky experience, as the stay left a sour taste, but I doubt I will stay here again to confirm so.
Birthday Treat! From the moment we arrived, the ease of parking and the warm welcome at check in, our few days away got off to good start. We arrived really early, but no problem 1 River view room was available, and the other would be ready on our return from sightseeing! Fabulous room- Beautiful bed linen- Super comfortable bed- Clean- Extra Birthday treats! Breakfast very high standard- excellent selection. ALL THE STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL! Welcoming- Professional- Efficient! The standard of hospitality training was evident, and the general attitude, courtesy and care, must filter down from the top. WELL DONE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our 3 Days In Manchester was made extra special by staying at the Lowry. Convenient for sightseeing or shopping. We will hopefully return and look forward to eating in the main restaurant, which was unfortunately closed on both evenings we were there- really the only slight disappointment.
