We drove from Manchester on a recommendation. The server was extremely friendly he told us there was a space for us upstairs so we went straight up as there was many people around ordering takeout. Busy, all the booths were full, there is a small waiting area with a bench. Someone came to wipe the table I'm glad as the table was sticky. We got a mixed grill, came with a seekh ,chicken Tikka pieces, couple of lamb pieces and donner and some salad. We ordered naan and chips separately as it's not included in the grill. Nice dipping sauce Seekh kebab and naan for the kiddo, he rates it 5 out of 10 as he's a big fan of Abduls in fallowfield nothing can compare really. I liked the chicken Tikka the most, found everything spicy, maybe due to my illness so couldn't enjoy. Decent, try at least once , locals favorite, not worth another trip for us unfortunately.
I genuinely expected more… I cannot fault the service, timing and price. Everything is fair. Unfortunately the doner was simply processed with coloring. This was not on the calibre of Mcturks in derby or The Three Chefs in Batley. Not even close.
Outstanding in every way possible. The only thing they could improve on is to have customer parking. 5 star guys, highly recommended!!! PS the special on the menu is exactly what it says it is. Will be back!
First time- Staff was great and helpful, customer service on point. Sadly the food wasnt all that for me. I had terrible stomach pain after, Diarrhea and lot of passing farts maybe it was uncooked on the day or something. I hear good reviews but I dont know I will leave 3 stars, in the middle. Price is good I think. Sadly I won't be coming but at least I tried the food :)
This was our first visit to The Kebab House and it was long overdue! From the moment we entered we received a warm welcome from the staff who were busy preparing the online orders. I loved the open kitchen vibe as you can see everything was clean and being cooked fresh. The food was amazing and I felt it was very reasonably priced! The red donner was amazing and everything else was cooked really well. I would definelty go for the garlic naan as they are soft and light which make them moreish! We sat upstairs and the staff bring your drinks and food to your table which was a nice touch. They even offered to put the AC on for us if we needed it upstairs when they brought our drinks. On our way out the team checked with us if we enjoyed the food and if everything was ok with the sevice which was so nice. If i had to pick three reasons why I would recommend for you to visit the Kebab House it would be: 1. The food! 2. The service! 3. The price! We will be definitely be visiting again as this is now most certainly going to be one of our go-to places!
