The equipment hasn’t changed since opened like 10 years ago, be careful on the treadmills that’s the third time I mess up my legs up on them, they are all the same brand but move on different speed on the same level, they just patch them up which can cause serious injury and set you back in training, they have no regards for health and safety (the owners) and the staff are great and very helpful they keep the place tidy. Every trademil mil is the same as for the photos that’s the one I was on.
Fair price, new equipment. Plenty of space for exercises. Car park is paid multi storey, but the gym pays for car park up to 2 hrs which in my case is not enough time. They should extend that to 2.5hrs so keep in mind you might need to pay 80p extra if you overstay.
Very good gym well equipped. Most of the time is not to crowded and plenty plates and dumbbells up to 40kg. Cheap membership and free car park which is the only downside as you have to use a public multistorey car park which can be busy during weekends.
To the last person who put their review please make sure you put in all the right facts before leaving a review that’s false… She never said she “No, I’m training a paid client” I was training with my PT yesterday when this guy wanted to use the pull up bar mid while I was doing kick backs he asked if it was ok to use, my trainer Libby Rose Deakin said yes just make sure she doesn’t kick you we all laughed and I said that’s because I’m clumsy so I positioned myself on to a slant so he had more then enough room to work out. As I was stretching out to do my next rep he was very rude and had attitude towards myself and my trainer which made me feel very uncomfortable as I suffer with serve anxiety. Since knowing Libby for the last year and have been training with her for the last 5 months this woman has been an inspiration to my life helping guiding and pushing me to my best capability, even when my anxiety has been so bad on some day’s I pre warn her and when I get into training she helps massively. I couldn’t thank her enough to getting me onto this journey and I will forever be grateful because without her I wouldn’t be able to do this alone.
Had my negative experience, left a review and it has been magically deleted. Says alot about The Gym Group as a whole tbh. Have since cancelled my membership due to the rude personal trainer (you know who you are) and would pre warn you to look elsewhere
