Nipped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday afternoon, had the chicken burger and salt and pepper chicken with chips. Wow 👌. Really nice place, lovely atmosphere, pint at only £4.50 Staff were great especially Charlie who looked after us today. Really impressed.
Food was pretty nice and arrived decently fast. Main issue is the servers, they looked like they absolutely did not want to be there at all. I work in hospitality myself and I know that some days are tough but not one of the girls smiled at us or thanked us. Did not feel welcomed at all. Won’t be returning
A few of us went on Sunday evening, didn't book but a table at the last minute. A good variety on the menu, everything from English to Thai options. We had a shared starter and 3 different Thai dishes, all very nice, good portions and tasty. The waitressess were attentive, would definitely go again.
Lovely food pub , the food is fabulous ,especially the Thai food ,which beautifully presented . It's down fall is the coffee machine and kitchen close at 9.and unless staff mention it, you don't know . We had starters and mains all fabulous ,table cleared( about 8.45) waited for the girl to come back ,she didn't, one of the table went to find her ,to order coffee and dessert only to be told both had closed at 9 ( it was 9.10 by then ) .all 6 of us couldn't believe it and were very annoyed and disappointed . We then chatted while finishing our drinks and were asked to move to the bar to finish our drinks so they could clear the area .. that was adding insult to injury , we'd had enough by then so left . I'm tempted go back at lunch time for the food , but wouldn't bother for a night out with friends !!!!
Great service and food ,however, and it's not just here. Why are vegan dishes the same price as meat dishes? Also, please, everyone note that just because they are vegan, it doesn't mean they want a small portion. Pile it on, please.
