My stay at Stock Exchange Hotel was absolutely exceptional! Nigel, was the first person to greet us. He made us feel comfortable and was knowledgable. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable with high-quality bedding. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all stores and malls. Just off the high street, enough to be quiet. I was welcomed exceptionally by the team and my bags were brought up to my room. I was shown around the room with all the features. The room was beautiful and I felt really comfortable and relaxed. It was incredibly warm in the room, which is a problem for me so I cooled it down with the AC in minutes. Incredible stay!
Given that I clock up over 100 hotel stays a year on business, it was a delight to find such a fantastic location so close to my home. We stayed for my daughter's wedding and I could not have been more delighted with every aspect of our stay - glorious room, fantastic service everywhere, beautiful breakfast in the most elegant and impressive surroundings. Real memories made - and a lovely Friday evening at Sterlings. Full marks
my partner and i stayed here for a week around new years and on our second day got upgraded to the norfolk suite. the staff was so kind and welcoming throughout our entire stay. the room was extremely clean and so beautiful, had a really nice sized balcony and we got lucky to see some snow during that week (i am a floridian, first time seeing snow hehe) it’s in a great location and everything you could want to do in manchester isn’t a far walk from the hotel. we’ve come to manchester many times and after this stay at stock exchange i don’t think there’s a better hotel to go to. it is truly wonderful!
We tried the Stock Exchange as we had read that a chef from a previous restaurant we had visited had moved there. The venue was stunning we visited at Xmas time and it was decorated beautifully. We had a drink at the bar and the bartender was more than welcoming, my partner had seen a cocktail on an old menu but he did not hesitate to make it. We then sat down and our waiter went through the menu explaining in detail, also recommended a wine to go with our meal. We didn't have a starter we opted for something off the snacks menu which were pork crunch with chilli and Lyme pickle mayo these were so good, for our main we both had belly pork and orderee the side potatoes terrine and roasted garlic to go with it, Well it's a month on and me and my partner still discuss this potato it was that nice! Ha the belly pork was as expected cooked to perfection. For my dessert I chose the sticky toffee pudding and I'm yet to find it done better! The whole experience was 5*. We then visited the cocktail bar downstairs The Sterling which had live music on, a guy on the piano singing the venue lighting was dull and dark and very busy so I loved the vibe definitely worth a visit.
