I drove from Hull to Bury to try and get my prescription sorted from a different company. I'd ordered some glasses online from here and they were brilliant. So I thought I'd see how they are for an eye test since mine wasn't working out for me. I was blown away by their customer service and care. Nothing was too much for them. I had another eye test with the optician who was lovely and it's possibly the height of my glasses. I ordered some sunglasses whilst I was there, too. I highly recommend this company and their customer service.
I bought a pair of Specscart own brand high end ultra thin varifocals with blue light filtering and anti glare and anti scratch coatings. My prescription was rather complex as I have astigmatism so it required three iterations to perfect. One of the benefits of using a trusted high street optician like Specscart, for the unfortunate eventuality that it wouldn’t be right first time. I found that the staff were friendly and the optician was understanding. Third time it was perfect and I’m glad I persevered! I used their reglaze option and supplied them with my Oakley brand new designer frames for this order. Everything is so clear now with both distance and reading and it’s like watching everything with crystal clear clarity, and viewing comfort with excellent peripheral vision. I’d definitely recommend Specscart and go there again in future.
I've used the Walkden store for a couple of years now. The service is absolutely brilliant from entering to aftercare. The optician explained everything to me while I was having my eyes tested. The assistant was brilliant he asked me what sort of frames I was looking for and found the funky frames I like straight away. Nothing was too much for him. The specs I'd ordered came within the time I was told and the lady that fitted them again was great. Thank you all for your care and A* service at Walkden
Excellent service from all staff, welcoming, thorough eye test, brilliant range of frames and the prices are affordable. Coatings usually charged for at other high street opticians come as standard included in the price of the lens. Single prescriptions are ready in 48 hours with varifocals taking 2 weeks. Can't recommend them enough.
What a pleasant surprise we had when we booked our first ever eye test appointment at Specscart in Walkden. We could not fault the service we received from walking through the door to the eye test and selection of glasses. Very speedy arrival of our glasses and excellent service on making sure we were happy with them before leaving the premises. The range of glasses were varied and super trendy, would have no problem recommending to others and such a reasonable cost. All in all a really lovely experience, thanks to everyone at the Walkden branch
