Optician herself was fantastic. Rest of staff abysmal. First my glasses were made qith poor quality lenses. Micro scratches all over both lenses that made it impossible to see at night as lights looked "smeared" all over my lenses it was DANGEROUS to see (i couldn't see where i was walking if streetlights were on and cars driving" Went back and they just assumed it was my astigmatism (yet never had this issue before for past 20 years) Eventually was remade... The remake arrived right lens SAME ISSUE. left lens was perfect except... A CRACK ALL DOWN THE LENS.. Specsavers said there will be a charge to fix this! EXCUSE ME? i paid well over £200 and you want me to pay for damaged on arrival goods? Asked for refund and its being remade for a 3rd tims but i have a feeling I'll hage to ask for refund as i have NO HOPE of them being good quality.... Also as of writing this review i just seem other reviews saying SAME ISSUE about cracked lenses. Either way. If its repaired finally or refunded (or chargeback on my credit card if they refuse to refund) i WILL NEVER BE USING THIS SPECSAVERS EVER AGAIN FOR GETTING GLASSES! I might get my test done but demand them to pass me my prescription and I'll go to another place to get then made as 2 years ago they messed uo my prescription but a remake got it fixed. This time 2 times its been made and now for a 3rd remake as the quality of the lenses is SUPER BAD and staff trying to make me pay more for their poor quality! ...also whoever the lady was last week chewing gum and being cold to xustoemrs walking in isnt professional. If only i wasnt disabled and able to work fully time to afford a more decent independent opticians.. Either way never using these specsavers again. Might try the one near work next time or if i can use my golden ticket there for a 2nd pair and see if the quality is better.. If not.. Im never using ANY specsavers branch for rest of my life. But hoping my glasses in 2 weeks will be perfect quality so i never have to set foot in this awful place ever again
I had a referral from ‘CUES’ as I had soreness, redness and my eye had been watering for 24hrs. I rang to get an appointment, which was referred to an optician. The optician recommended and eye test… for an inflamed eye. It just so happened that this would also be a chargeable appointment. I have ended up going to the eye hospital. As this is my regular options I am very disappointed. Atrocious service.
It's been about 2 or 3 months since I had 2 glasses done. And simply one of the glasses, the lens is cracked inside. And simply you want to charge me £40 to replace one of the lenses that it's not my fault to have cracked inside. I have another glasses made with you and I wore them for about 2 years and I didn't have any problems. And this time you just didn't look for a solution to my problem.
I felt welcomed and heard. They were attentive to my problems and my eye test went very well. I bought two Glasses and contact lenses. My sunglasses from them are so pretty and stylish. Thank you
