I recently purchased glasses from Specsavers, and I’m extremely disappointed with the lens quality. The first pair caused significant discomfort, so I had them remade. Unfortunately, the second pair was just as bad—still uncomfortable and not up to standard. What’s worse, Specsavers refused to offer a refund, leaving me stuck with glasses I can’t use properly. The lack of resolution and poor customer service is unacceptable. I expected better quality and a more reasonable policy for faulty products. I would not recommend Specsavers if you care about proper vision correction and fair customer service.
Quick and efficient service when collecting my glasses. The lady who served me was an asset to the company, she was incredibly friendly, polite and speedy - all without making me feel rushed. The glasses collection was easy and I was immediately told where to wait and how long said wait would be. I ordered from another store as well, which is a service I wasn't aware of previously. My glasses arrived as requested and fit perfectly. The shop assistant thoroughly checked this too before I left the store.
Booked an eye test for the following day. Process was simple and easy, was dealt with by optician Una who was excellent. Very kind and helpful, willing to answer my questions and took extra steps to rule out potential hereditary eyesight issues. They took their time explaining my options for lenses and contacts. The glasses selection process was great, assisted by Adil who was extremely patient and helpful. Able to offer the one hour express service for one of two pairs which was extremely helpful. Overall, great experience. The price of lens shaving is slightly high, but overall an excellent experience.
Staff go the extra mile. Had to have extended urgent eye test. Sorted prescription and eye scan in the blink of an eye. Friendly and polite staff. Should have gone here first. Not pushy sales either!
I just wanted to say a big thank you to Shauna, she helped me fit my glasses and did a general fixing up of my old ones. I had previously had my glasses adjusted and they gave me headaches and a few people tried it with little success. But Shauna was incredible attentive and actually took the time to make sure they glasses fit properly
