Only stayed for one night but wish it was longer. We had the best service from the reception team who upgraded our room upon arrival and allowed us to check out at 12pm - amazing! The apartment was unreal, so beautiful with everything you could need. The extra thick windows meant we heard nothing from the street outside and had a great sleep, also didn’t hear any of the other guests coming or going! Highly recommend booking to stay here when visiting Manchester.
stayed at the penthouse. excellent size of the apartment. walking distance from train station and markets. my only suggestion is a variety of bread/ pastry choices for breakfast not just croissants. perhaps add some yoghurts and fruits? otherwise lovely hotel. staff friendly and helpful. and yes we got to check out at 1pm
- Beds are not comfortable at all. - Rooms are extremely spacious however no door to bathroom. - Free croissant and coffee every morning which provides a pleasant start to the day. - Staff checked us in early and were helpful. - Great walking distance to food and shops.
Never heard of this place before but I would certainly come again. Came here after our marriage ceremony. The receptionist, Alexia, was a star. Not only did she upgrade our checkout time but she waived the hotel tax as I live down the road. We booked the liberty suite but it looked nothing like the photos but I didn't care as I was exhausted and the room was generally good. I loved the double power showers and double sinks and the mini kitchenette. The only negative thing about the rooms is there aren't any power sockets near the bed and the windows don't open. Apart from that, free coffee machine and croissants for breakfast, pet friendly and great location. FYI, its not 100% disabled friendly but manageable if you have assistance (pull doors, step before getting to bed etc).
We stayed in the penthouse apartment at RoomZZZ Manchester over the weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with balloons, chocolates, and a lovely card with thoughtful wishes, which was a truly kind and appreciated gesture. On the positive side, the apartment felt special, and the facilities were great. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. However, there were a few drawbacks. The apartment itself felt a bit tired, with several lightbulbs not working. As mentioned in other reviews, the air conditioning didn’t function well, leaving the space uncomfortably warm at times. Oddly enough, we found that keeping a window open helped the aircon work slightly better. Overall, the experience was good, and the staff’s effort for our anniversary stood out. However, I’m unsure if the penthouse justifies the cost, as it felt more basic than expected.
