A decent sized gym with good equipment, but not great maintenance. A lack of sanitiser stations for equipment with paper towel often out. The sports water machine (that we pay extra for) has been out of order for a few weeks (see photos with dates). We should be automatically refunded the extra paid for this time. The flavours have also been out a few times as well meaning I fill a bottle with plain water instead. I also pay extra to use 300+ gyms (as this is local to my parents so I want to use my local as well) but my local pure gym isn’t included for some reason, despite being the same price so the only way to use both is to pay for both. If I moved to Stockport North I can use Glossop for free but not if I sign up to Stockport south. This makes no sense
Good gym but seems a bit neglected at times. Weight rack is constantly in a mess, no re-racking rules seem to be enforced. Not as much equipment is available compared to other pure gyms. Overall, it’s decent but could be better.
Untidy, lack of staff on site and tanga water machine has been out of service for two weeks. Considering this is a paid bolt on it’s not right that it’s taking the club so long to get it fixed.
I’ve been going to this gym for quite a few years. Sometimes it’s very clean and tidy and other times it’s a complete mess. The clock broke on the wall and it took them 3 months to replace. Turns out they did not even replace it and simply moved the clock from the spin area! Come on Pure Gym, You can do better.
I like here. I've been coming for a few years. Sometimes it's clean, sometimes it's dirty. But overall I like it because it is not crowded, at least in the evenings.
