I recently dined at Pizza Express and enjoyed both the food and service, which were up to the usual standard. However, I did notice that the portion sizes seemed smaller than before. The location itself has a charming old wooden interior, which adds a nice touch, but the giant seating booths made the space feel a bit less welcoming. Overall, a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement in the atmosphere.
George was exceptional, very kind and attentive. He made sure we had all we needed and made our visit the highlight of our day. He is a credit to Pizza express and always has a smile on his face. Even though the restaurant was very busy you couldn’t feel it for a second from his service. Thank you George we will be back soon.
Food was fine, but there was a lot off the menu when we went, which was disappointing. And no Pizza Express dipping sauce either!
We had a great meal here last night. The gentleman who seated us was very friendly and a great host, especially considering how busy it was. The waiter was also very friendly with quick service. They really made a difference to our meal and thought it was worth a mention
