I arrived on time for my appointment at Optical Express, Trafford Centre, yet I ended up waiting in the waiting area for over half an hour. Despite my punctuality, the optometrist called my name, and then the manager, Raheel, allowed a late-arriving customer to cut in the queue—resulting in even longer waiting times for me. What kind of manager does this? I feel that he shows clear racial bias by favoring white customers over Asian customers. No diversity in the store staff neither says it all. Filed a complaint over the phone immediately but probably won’t even have any impact on the manager! Avoid at all cost!
Responding to the response. This is a review I do not need to prove to you anything my awful experience should be enough. And i have tried medical but that's no good, all they say is use eye drops and that doesn't work. Again NO ONE GET THIS PLEASE! DO NOT GET THIS SURGERY I have had this surgery and my life has been ruined. I am almost completely blind and writing this was almost impossible, also i wake up in pain and stress everyday. the people involved were awful and felt incompetent. This is more of a warning than a review whatever you do do not do it!
I had an eye test at the Trafford Centre branch and was very impressed by the efficient and professional service. Their eye test was extremely comprehensive and I felt reassured by the feedback I received.
Thank you optical express for giving me back my eyesight and for the professional support, My experience with Optical Express was nothing short of exceptional, from the moment I stepped in to the very end. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. My first surgery was lens replacement, performed by a highly skilled surgeon in August. It took a few weeks for my eyes to adjust, but Optical Express was phenomenal. They promptly scheduled a checkup the next day and were always there to answer any questions I had. I felt completely at ease knowing that I could reach them with a simple phone call. Five months later, I underwent LASIK surgery to correct my vision. This procedure allowed me to have one eye distance and the other close up, and it works amazingly well. This was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m now completely glasses-free, and my eyesight is better than it was when I was a teenager. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Optical Express for giving me back my eyesight and providing me with such professional support. I will be forever grateful for their assistance.
Had lens replacement with this shower , was told my close up vision would be improved but not told my distance would be reduced if only a little ,the aftercare service has been poor I've been waiting for my final appointment after my 12 months it's never arrived and now they tell me it's chargeable. Poor service after thousands spent with this company . I would not recommend this company in any way stay away you have been told and warned. So I've just read the reply from optical express , can I just say that I've told you the issues , you should have sent me a final appointment for aftercare check, I made appointments during my first four but couldn't make the fifth on the day as you could not supply a date that far ahead so your staff said I'd be sent one and when it didn't come I rang you again and guess what they wanted more money for the appointment and the reason the majority of reviews are good is that you make pe sign non disclosure agreements when things go wrong and you need to put right so let's not talk about majorities. I see you want me to contact you well I've done so , you have my details by all means use them to contact me as this is your responsibility for aftercare and customer service
