I really enjoyed my stay at Oddfellows On The Park. The hotel has a great mix of historic charm and modern style, making it feel unique and cozy. The rooms were comfortable with nice amenities, though the bathroom privacy could be better. The restaurant had tasty food, but prices were a bit on the higher side. The location is peaceful, surrounded by lovely parkland, perfect for relaxing walks. Parking was a little limited but manageable. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for something different and stylish in Cheadle! They charge for early checking - 15GBP

So close to a 5-star rating. Hotel is in lovely grounds. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Bar staff and waiting staff were first class. Room was a good size but minor gripe was the lack of shower caps and pens/pads - could be for sustainability which I applaud but the price point would indicate you would have all the usual extras. The BIG issue for us was the tiny number of parking bays. If they are full you have to leave your car in the council park car park overnight which isn't ideal. All that said we enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again - ideally if there was a deal on

OMG! What an amazing place. Just had the most perfect wedding weekend here and from start to finish everything was great. The Friday night BBQ on the terrace in the sunshine was a great way to start. The day itself was so calm and full of fun and as the day progressed the staff were so friendly that they became like family. Tracy, you are amazing and just the person we needed to run our day. To the chef (so sorry didn't get your name or the chance to say this in person) the food was amazing. I don't know how you did it especially with the delay to serving (not the fault of the hotel I hasten to add). These words don't seem enough to thank you all but please be assured that you made a special day not only perfect for Alice and Cameron but also for all the guests. X

I seldom feel the need to leave reviews but in this case I wanted too. A lovely place very sensitively restored with lovely original features. My room was very comfortable and had nice features and a well stocked mini bar. The Galloping Major is a great restaurant. But the service from start to finish was just great - a warm welcome from everyone, great night staff who were fun to talk too. I really recommend this place.

Dear Oddfellows Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of food served at a recent birthday party held at your venue. As a long-time admirer of your establishment, I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The food served was not only unappealing in appearance but also lacked any of the flavors I have come to associate with your reputation. The presentation was poor, and many of the dishes were cold, stale, or tasted as though they had been sitting out for too long. The overall quality of the meal was far below the standard I had anticipated, leaving many of the guests, including myself, unable to enjoy the food. It was like canned dog food and inedible. Given the special nature of the occasion, I was especially disheartened by the lack of care and attention given to the food. As this was a birthday celebration, the guests’ experience should have been memorable in a positive way, but sadly, the meal was a major letdown. I trust you take customer feedback seriously and would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. I would welcome an explanation for the subpar quality of food served, as well as any actions you plan to take to address the issue. Thank you for your time and consideration.
