Had garden room. Creaky floorboards, noisy neighbours, walls must be wafer thin. Didn't sleep for two nights with noise and when confronted with the noisy neighbours just got shouted at. Left in disgust without having breakfast.
Cool old house with lots of rooms. Short walk down the hill to nice restaurants in Marple. The best part was the short walk to the canals and the Marple Aquaduct.
Excellent guest house. Beautiful room and clean. Had a lovely sleep looking out on to a grand garden and scenery. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Will go again. Thank you for your hospitality.
Like going back in time. Very tired decor. Room basic and cold, no blankets to be found! Shared bathroom not ideal. Rude man hosted breakfast, no people skills, however breakfast was tasty.
Stayed for a night. Old charm boarding house. Not all rooms are ensuit. The room however was spotless. Morning breakfast was really nice as well.
