Great pub with a great atmosphere. Connell was singing and was absolutely fantastic. And Alex and her team went above and beyond to help me out when I misplaced my bag (I don't get out often 😅). One of my fave pubs in Manchester. Thanks everyone xx
Was enjoying ourselves at Mulligans, until unfortunately someone out our party accidentally spilled a drink off the table. As we were in the top floor the drink spilled to the lower level. Thankfully it was quiet and it did not hit anyone. We apologised and explained the situation but the security and team did not listen and kicked our entire party out of the pub without any room for reasoning. We had already bought drinks and so we were forced to waste our money. Great location and music but very unfair and poor service.
Witnessed a bouncer on the top floor (10/05/25) completely over react to people who were just drinking happily / enjoying the atmosphere. He kicked them out because they weren't sitting where he wanted and didn't even give them a chance to move, absolutely no valid reason for kicking them out and completely over reacted! Bouncer on a massive ego trip and created unnecessary conflict! Don't recommend unless you want hassle from the top floor bouncer!
It has got to be done sample the Guinness it ranks as one of the best pints in England. I suggest also trying the Gravediggers pub in Dublin. Mulligans pints are right up there and generate sufficient Shtich on the glass.
I think the door staff need knocking down a peg or two, especially the chap who wears the orange bib, he used to be friendly but now he's become arrogant, obnoxious and very hostile. I don't need to be shouted at and be told to 'go upstairs'
