My girlfriend thought it was a good option for getting new lenses, but since the very beginning was all about selling more, not about what was really needed, they managed to sell her exams for glasses and lenses( when she only needed for lenses) which seems to be 'normal', then got a trial for lenses, tried them for 3 weeks and there was always a call or message reminding her she need to go and pay for the actual ones, then, since the day she paid ( also trying to sell a contract, which she didn't agree with) no one absolutely no one rang her or email/message her to go and pick up the ready lenses for exactly 23 days, she called and they said oh, the lenses are here ready, we always like M&S products as they are always good quality, but this time is very disappointing that the only interest of this business is the money and not the customer at all. Not recommended to anyone.
Avoid at all cost! If you are searching to see if it is worth going in store to have a look around, please read all the bad reviews first. All those people are speaking the brutal truth. I wish I looked at the reviews before I went in and purchased glasses. Well overpriced especially they charge £150 for Zeiss clearview lenses. My friend told me Boots only charge £75 which is half of the price for the same lenses. So yeah I will upgrade my lenses at Boots as the standard lenses from M&S are ridiculously thick and heavy.
Good and consistent customer service. The optometrist was very professional and reassuring while the staff who helped me get new glasses was also very patient and helpful too.
Eye test is excellent and very thorough. Customer service and aftercare is superb, if you have any issues with your glasses they are very happy to help get it sorted. Will be coming back when I need another pair!
I was really desperate to get some more contact lens to go on holidays, but I was struggling to find a shop that had them in stock. I had made so many phone calls and walked all around town and had no luck until I came here. The young lady was very understanding and patient in listening to what I had to say and she told me that she will try her best to see what she can do. I feel so lucky to have walked in there, cause she was the only one that was so kind to me and offered a solution that was the 2nd best alternative. 😊
