I’ve been dealing with running injuries for several years and had seen a couple of NHS physiotherapists during that time. While they were able to diagnose the issues, their treatment plans and recovery exercises never fully resolved the pain or allowed me to walk and run without discomfort. Matrix is awesome and Grace is fantastic at what she does. I have had issues with my IT band for over two years now and I have tried many physios but this is the first time I can actually feel my knee and leg (both legs actually) feeling stronger. Not only are the workouts effective but Grace's boundless enthusiasm and warm demeanour is infectious and you really feel like your aims are within reach because she truly believes in what she does and your potential to reach your goal. Awesome stuff.
I started seeing Riz and Grace following an elbow dislocation and subsequent stabilisation surgery. I'm extremely active, impatient, and I am competing in a pre booked Hyrox competition just months after my surgery. I've a hip replacement so I've had NHS physio before but knew that was slow and not tailored enough to my abilities for a fast and successful recovery. Riz initially gave me a plan to get moving and continue training straight away; I've then continued with Grace who provided an in depth strength and exercise programme and sports massage therapy - both have been exceptional. My arm has returned to full flexibility, I've trained THROUGHOUT the recovery and not lost any down time, I feel stronger than ever and I'm competing next week! I simply would not have had these results without them - highly recommend.
I've been seeing Riz for a few months now to help recover from a knee injury. I have seen a lot of improvement with my injury since going to him. He is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and personable, providing me with a range of exercises for my recovery. He's also been very helpful over WhatsApp whenever I've had questions/issues in between sessions. I'd recommend Matrix to anyone needing physio treatment.
