Stayed here as part of residential for a counselling diploma. Excellent conference facilities, nice clean bedrooms and friendly staff. Food was great and the chef (Martin) couldn’t do enough for us, very friendly, helpful and always has a smile on his face.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was simple but very cozy, offering the perfect setting for a restful night’s sleep – I slept wonderfully. What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly staff, who were always helpful and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality options that left nothing to be desired. Additionally, the public transport connections were excellent, making it easy and convenient to get anywhere. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!
A very British place to stay. Really humble, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is sufficient, rooms are clean. Small but very comfortable. The area is really quiet and there's a park nearby, 2 minutes away from a bus stop to airport/centre and about 30-40 min to the centre by walk. Lovely yard. It's a really affordable place.
The property has really nice spacious rooms and good washroom. Very well organized with a port next to your bed and area to use to hang clothes. Breakfast was amazing. Good options and very fresh. Staff were very nice and helpful too. The building is a bit old so the rooms were not the most modern, and you can see this on the walls and ceiling. Also a bit of stains on the bedding. I told them I will be coming late and I will need a late checkout however they never mentioned that I will need to enter from the back to access the hotel and it was raining that day in Manchester so It was some extra walking in the rain.
Nice place, nice staff. It's not the Ritz but it's clean, quiet and well situated for areas like Fallowfield and Didsbury. The site is a theology college in case you are wondering and it's clear it is that but that operates in its own space so no reason for concern if you just want a room. But there is a theology library if you are interested. Alternatively there's a small bar at reception, a large sitting area and reception is open till 10/11 pm ISH. Also, very well priced. I would certainly stay again.
