Karen The site sales manager at the Copse Penwortham @ Lancet Homes has been nothing but exemplary in dealing with our requests and question about a property for sale. She went above and beyond to make us an appointment at the Leigh site to view a finish Chester show house. Karen again allowed us to view the unfinished build at the Copse escorted with the site manager. We called in today to reserve a plot and allowed my wife and I to come to terms with downsizing and understanding the process of buying from Lancet homes. I’m not the easiest costumer to satisfy but again Karen was patient and answered every question professionally. 11/10 to Karen and fingers crossed for a smooth transition 😀 John and Lisa 😀
Hannah the sales executive at parsonage garden’s is a credit to lancet homes, my experience has been nothing but 5*. I explained to her I just wanted details about the development for a family friend who is not in a position to purchase yet, but wanted a feel for the new build homes. Hannah explained what was in the standard specification and what extras would be available if she wanted to upgrade or add any optional extras . She even showed me the actual kitchen options, flooring options and informed me of the benefits of the different flooring types (and advised on the different quality’s and different floor coverings) I was shocked! so I took pictures for my friend! Hannah explained in detail the buying process and I for a moment it felt I wanted to purchase a new home myself from her. Hannah explained the warranty information and gave me information to take away with me. Hannah explained in detail and demonstrated all options and upgrades and informed me of the quality and buying process my friend would expect if she decided to purchase a new home with lancet. Her knowledge, professionalism, and her welcome made the whole experience a pleasure. I will be recommending Hannah to anybody who wants to buy their new home. Thanks
The buying process was easy enough and Hannah was very helpful, However this is about as good as it gets. The finish on the house is below par, issues with plastering, painting, windows and plumbing have all been ignored for 3 months without a response despite being chased up almost weekly. I STILL DO NOT HAVE RUNNING HOT WATER IN THE MAIN BATHROOM. I was blamed for a water meter being installed in a completely unsuitable location which completely blocked any potential of the installation of a dishwasher despite "plumbing for a dishwasher" being included in the standard spec. Aftercare has been terrible, You chase regarding issues for months to then be told that even though it is in the standard specification on the brochure, they do not do simple tasks such as grading and topsoiling a garden unless you pay for having turf laid which is then laid on dirt, rubble and building supplies rather than on quality topsoil which results in the turf looking miserable. Hopefully these issues can be resolved and I can change this review but I do not hold out much hope! Images attached of the state of the garden which Lancet and the Landscaper have claimed is correctly graded and has quality topsoil. (ive removed most of the building supplies and broken bottles myself at this point.) Lancet have now lied about the garden being inspected and refuse to send anyone to view or even talk to me over the phone.
