Amazing hotel. The attention to detail is second to none when it comes to service. The building including entrance hallway is so grand. The staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are very soundproof and the beds and towels, very comfy. Only thing, the blackout blinds don’t close completely and leave a bit of a gap, can be solved with an eye mask. The breakfast spread is great and big shout out to the lady called Montisha (Monty) who serves breakfast most days, for being undoubtedly the most friendly and smiley staff member there. We went there to stay at this hotel for the second time after 3 months and Monty immediately recognized us and even remembered our breakfast drinks order!!! If one of the Management team are reading this review, please give this lovely lady (Monty) a raise!! This is what you call top notch service and it’s hard to find! We will be returning to this hotel again no doubt.
Stayed over last night and the experience was one to never forget. Great customer service smiley and cheerful. The rooms were immaculate with an old school rustic type of design. Great location for a night out in Manchester everything is walking distance for all your needs. Highly recommend do not miss out on this amazing experience !
We booked the hotel for the night before our early wedding at The Registry Office on the 24 October. From our arrival everything was perfect. We’ve never had such a lovely experience. Every member of staff was a delight. The room was stunning we even had a turntable. We ordered room service in the evening and again fab service and delicious food. The next mornings buffet breakfast was excellent, a huge choice to suit everyone. We will remember our time at The Kimpton forever and will definitely return for our one year anniversary. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so special.
Unfortunately we had a little wait for our room as it was a busy weekend but it was worth the wait - the room was lovely. We enjoyed a drink in the bar which was buzzing in a lovely way. Breakfast was also fantastic though some of the group were a little too worse for wear from the night before to fully enjoy it! On a weekend beware that there can be a long wait for a table at breakfast. The building itself is incredible!
Stayed here for one night after a concert with my sister and I was blown away at the at the cleanliness and presentation of the rooms and the service provided at his hotel. We arrived and had an issue with the booking which was an app error (booking . com) which was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the staff. There is a social hour from 5-6 which includes a complementary glass of wine or soft drink.
