One the best hotels i have ever stayed in! The staff are amazing. There’s room was spotless. The bar downstairs is great a little pricey but its worth it:)
We had a great stay here. It's perfectly placed for Bridgewater Hall across the road, and an easy walk from plenty of pubs and restaurants along the canal in particular. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our luggage ahead of check-in time, and ultimately got to check in early at no extra cost, too. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable.
Good for the conference centre but the price deals are atrocious. I prebooked but later on the prices fell. Taking advantage of busy times perhaps, but the Tuesday night I paid £270 wheras other nights were £90 and £115. Just something wrong here. Won't be staying again. Room was tired, and lighting is dismal for an executive room. The air con/ heating did not work - again - it didn't in another room last month. Shame as this was a go-to hotel but will not be in a hurry to stay again.
I spent 2 nites at Leonardo Hotel Manchester Central. Hotel is located near several sites I wanted to visit in the Castlefield area. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to visit all the sites. Leonardo Hotel has older facilities. There is secure parking at a fair price within a 3-minute walk (Q-Park First Street). After visiting the UK for nearly a month Leonardo Hotel Central Manchester offers a lot of basic amenities more expensive and cheaper hotels do not offer. I mentioned that Leonardo has older facilities, but everything is clean. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a box of facial tissue (many UK hotels do not provide facial tissue). The bathroom fixtures and light switches were operational. This was not the case at many hotels. My room had a small refrigerator, but no robes nor slippers. Hotel does not offer fitness room.
Bed very comfortable, what I care about most on business. Breakfast good, the dinner average and much better places to eat outside hotel. Tired the first night so ate at hotel. Great location for most things, staff friendly.
