The bedroom was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and the staff were polite. Nice snack/drink bar at reception for any late night requirements, was nice to have when going up for the night. Breakfast was really nice, very fresh from the cooked food department. Wide variety of food options for breakfast, pretty impressed. Location is pretty central in Manchester, walking distance from this years Xmas markets and plenty of bars/restaurants. Would visit again.
For the price point a great choice for a stay in Manchester City centre. Not an outstanding hotel, but the rooms look modern and were clean. The beds were comfortable and good in room amenities and appliances. What I would say though is the Bathroom let down the quality as it was a little older and not as slick as the main bedroom. Our window was also a little drafty, but there were big curtains to block that so it wasn’t an issue. The breakfast was also simple but tasty and had everything you needed. I would stay here again if in Manchester and the room was at the right price.
I'm a wheelchair user and was delighted with the facilities and service at this hotel. Ramp access to the door then lifts to all floors. The bedroom had an automatic door which is a rare treat, plenty of space and a well equipped wet room. Brilliant!
Not great, not horrible, pretty much sums this up. The room was clean, but chair suspension was broken (collapsing), there was no toilet brush and no suitcase stand. The hairdryer bag was eventually found in a drawer (in most hotels, these are hanging from a hook in the bathroom). Little things like this would be OK for a budget (£70/night) but are disappointing for a full-price (£170/night) hotel. Breakfast is English and OK, but nothing spectacular. Service during check-in was slow (only one staff manning the counter, despite a line forming).
I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel City Centre Manchester, and while its location is undeniably convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel is situated right in the city center, which makes it great for anyone wanting to explore Manchester, and it's conveniently located next to a mall. However, despite the prime location, the lack of on-site parking is a significant drawback. The hotel has an arrangement with Q-Parking, which is about a 7-minute walk away. Even with a 20% discount, the parking cost still came up to £14.62 — not the most ideal situation if you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with family. As for the room, it was fairly standard, nothing to rave about. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was not working. With no other options, I had to leave the window open, but this brought in a lot of noise from the traffic outside, making it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, someone near my room was smoking weed, and the smell was quite overpowering. I reported this issue to the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do. That lack of response was disappointing. Overall, while the location is excellent, the issues with the room, noise, and lack of action from the staff really put a damper on my stay. I wouldn’t choose to stay at this hotel again.
