For £146 a night it had better be good and it was. Big plush rooms, massive bed and shower. Couldn't fault the place to be honest. Perfect for gigs at the Academy or Deaf Institute. And seconds off Oxford Road and the Motorway. The Staff ? Couldn't say. I got swiftly checked in and didn't need to interact with them again - Which I see as a good sign of a perfect stay. My one and only minor gripe ? They wanted to charge £17 for a breakfast. So I'd swerve that and find an alternative for a third of the price. Would I return ? Yes, once I break the bank in Las Vegas and can afford too. 😁
Hotel was great! I've been there for a week on a business trip. Rooms are comfortable and impeccably clean. Breakfast has wide variety of warm and cold food, coffee, tea and juice, and people working there are really nice and welcoming. It is situated in university area which has a lot of trees and parks so it made an additional impression on me.
Myself and husband stayed in this hotel the night before and night of our wedding. I’d arranged with Lea via email a booking system for the guests to get their rooms at a discounted rate. And she was amazing. On arriving on my own for the night before the wedding, the staff had arranged a nice bottle of fizz, a congratulatory card and a bouquet of flowers my husband had ordered to be presented on my arrival. The night of the wedding we got a complimentary upgrade and they moved my stuff from room to room to allow for easier transition. The staff were attentive, helpful and we’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s staying in the area.
This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and inclusive. The public areas are light, bright and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, very well appointed and super clean. Accessible rooms are available. An ideal location for a trip to Manchester!
Luxury hotel next to University of Manchester Business School. Loved the room which is catered for business travellers that is well lit and everything in the room works. Breakfast is a bit disappointing due to lack of selection and the items are the same throughout my stay of 6 days at this hotel. The fish and chips were very good while the Hawaiian pizza lacked flavor and the pineapple did not cook through enough.
