Excellent location for short visit. Design based on library theme and it makes very cosy the whole hotel. . Friendly and polite personnel at the reception. Room clean and quiet although a bit small for 2 persons. The bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was good with enough choice. The bread was just divine! The price was reasonable, maybe more because we visited at the end of March. We'll definitely return.
Great location. Long wait for check-in. No apology from staff. Room was small with nowhere to put clothes. TV was in German. We were in an accessible room which meant a really low shower. The bar was good. View from the room was of a brick wall. Not enough plug sockets in convenient places.
Bed was very comfortable, room was smaller than I was expecting but big enough. Bathroom was in immaculate condition. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had fewer options than I expected for the price. At close to £14 a person you'd expect more variety and offerings
Great location, nice staff. I liked the room, it was small, but comfy. Too small for this price. They claim to be sustainable and ask guests to put the towels back on the rack if they don’t want to replace them yet every single time they change everything, even when left correctly. I actually wanted to keep my towel and every time I got a new one. And there’s no normal milk in the room like soy or oat milk for the coffee? They offer only cows milk in the room.
I’d like to start by saying that the reception team are absolutely lovely! This being said, the room I had was quite small. The room did have a city view but I wouldn’t call it much of a view, instead, the view looked directly at a few buildings and onto the street. Things like tea and coffee were quite basic. The cups were plastic which wasn’t great but the variety of tea and coffee wasn’t great, for example, there wasn’t any herbal tea options. Room was quite basic on the whole but it was alright for one night. I most probably won’t be returning. However, I would recommend Wilde Apartments near St Peter’s Square in you’re looking for a central location and nice views etc.
