Good location, small room & not the best sleep. Stayed here for 2 nights, the reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The room itself was nicely decorated, but quite small for the price. There isn’t a great deal of space or storage in the room, the bathroom was also very small and wouldn’t fit 2 people unless one was in the shower. Location was lovely and central, perfect for walking to the Arndale. View out of the window was also straight into offices less than 6ft away, so curtain had to stay closed the entire time. Finally which might be slightly minor but the pillows were not great, both weird sizes and offering little support. For one night the location is great, but wouldn’t stay for anymore than that.
stayed with my partner on multiple occasions. The staff were very friendly, the cocktails were made to perfection and the rooms are very homely/spacious. Very happy and will be back soon.
What a fabulous hotel and service from all staff. My sister and I visited for one night to enjoy a live gig and Christmas Markets. We were served by Celeste and her colleagues Mario and also Maintenance Engineer James who were all very accommodating and professional in their manner to ensure our visit was enjoyed. Thank you also for the fantastic breakfast choices, they were delicious and a refreshing change from the usual full English breakfast. The food and beverages were extensive! Amazing experience was had by us, so thank you 😊
We really loved our stay in the royal exchange branch. We felt very central to everywhere in Manchester. The rooms were very very clean and tidy and staff were very friendly! You’ll definitely get a good nights rest there. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel store room and our belongings felt very safe, as we arrived and left a lot later than check in and check out, this feature was very helpful.
Stayed for one night in Feb 2025 Motel is next to the Arndale centre and a short walk (10 mins) from the AO Arena and printworks Check in (after 3pm) was quick and easy Room is as expected for a motel one, on the smaller side but spacious enough, definitely not cramped. Bed is big and comfortable, a small chair and tea station and a tv with smart connectivity brings some home comforts. There is some innovative wardrobe space throughout the room and a fold away stand to place your case on should you need it. Room also had a hairdryer. Bathroom was a shower, no bath as expected, and whilst the water pressure was poor, the shower could still do its job. Hair/body wash and hand soap provided. Breakfast was more continental style, with meats, cheeses, plenty breads and pastries and a great granola/muesli station with a whole bunch of different options for you to combine into your own creation. Our stay was comfortable and motel one provided everything we needed for our stay, would always recommend!
