A good hotel for business travellers but I wouldn’t stay more than a few nights. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable. The biggest selling point is this hotel is quiet! I didn’t hear anything while in my room, and although I didn’t have an amazing view, there was never a slamming door or noise from adjacent rooms. It was peaceful. The shower is as hot as you like it! Beautiful and there are toiletries to use in the bathroom. I found the staff polite but not many of them around and you must engage if you want a conversation. The breakfast was hot and always plentiful even during a busy morning, but I found the coffee from both machines unbearable and the scrambled eggs appeared to be from powder and that turned my stomach. I’d stay here again for the awesome location and the fact I slept so well, but it isn’t always the cheapest!

The Room wasn't too bad, but the ventilation wasn't great. Staff were nice and chatty, kind and attentive. I really love the fact that the ibis hotels have a pool table! However, I don't think this one advertised the fact that they had one as I couldn't find it on the website, but I might be mistaken. Breakfast was good quality - sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon(back), beans. Their toaster wasn't too great though, often over-cooked the bread but was still really good. Location was perfect, only 5 minutes from the office I was visiting and 10 minutes from Mackie Mayor's food court, ideal.
**Avoid This Hotel at All Costs** I travel frequently for work, spending several days each month in various hotels, and this is by far one of the worst – and most expensive – experiences I’ve encountered in 4 years of constant travel. The issues were numerous, from poor customer service and staff attitudes to maintenance and security failures. My first room had a broken window, the second had a malfunctioning air conditioning system, and the third room I was moved to hadn’t even been cleaned after the previous guest. They left the second room I stayed in unlocked all evening, night, and morning, which I believe is a fundamental safety failure for any hotel. When I raised these concerns with the general manager, they dismissed my complaint by simply stating, “We consider this matter closed and will not be responding further regarding this issue.” The lack of accountability and basic hospitality is shocking. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel, as it clearly prioritises profit over guest satisfaction and safety.
