Getting to and from the hotel was an easy walk from the train station. Our rooms had comfortable beds and clean bathrooms with complimentary tea/coffee. The quirky decor in the rooms was a little tired and room soundproofing could be better as we could hear other guests in the next room and also in the hallway. Staff on reception weren't particularly friendly or welcoming and the breakfast felt a little pricey for the selection on offer. We liked that access to the lifts was controlled by keycard, making it feel more secure. The hotel amenities were adequate for our short stay, the location was good as a base for day trips around Manchester.
Does what it says on the tin ! It's a quirky Ibis Styles, great location 5 mins walk from Picadilly station. Very friendly staff with good local knowledge. Rooms and reception have quirky decor, I do appreciate that they made an effort. Very Styles! Room is compact but has everything you need, nice practical side table and a fake grass cube to sit on. Bathroom roomy and spotlessly clean. USB A and sockets next to each side of the bed, no USB C though ..... Good price for a mid week, I'm very happy with my choice !
Polite staff, comfortable room with all the amenities necessary. Great location in the city centre, however still very quiet. Comfortable beds, nice decor throughout, hotel easy to navigate and well maintained. Great value for money as well. Highly recommended, perfect stay! :)
The room and hotel were great. The check-in team were awsome 👌 however the next team were not quite that welcoming when I asked if I ordered food at the restaurant would the bill add to my reward points the chap whilst not looking at me just said no and carried on looking at the computer screen at reception so I just left and spent my £30 for dinner across the road and decided that also the following night I'd eat away again. Shane because you could have had my business apart from there was no reason to eat with you and the staff were a bit distracted.
The staff were great, they gave us an hour extra for checkout. Everything was pretty well decorated and clean, but our room had a weird smell when we got there and then again the next morning. It had a hairdryer and even a clothes iron and ironing board. The isolation was a bit poor, we could hear the guys in the next room. The view was questionable :')
