The hotel location is great, just opposite a tram stop that takes you straight to Piccadilly. The staff at the hotel were nice and helpful and kindly let me leave my luggage for the day after I'd checked out. The room had the basic amenities (towels etc) but the cleanliness of the room could definitely be better - the floors clearly needed some attention and unsure when they were last hoovered/mopped (including a strange stain on the floor that I was too scared to look at closely as seemed almost like blood....) and mould around the windows. The shower & sink is in the room itself but this doesn't bother me - just something to note if you're sharing a room with someone. Overall a pleasant enough stay for one night.
Nice location, short walk from train station and right next to bus/tram station. Decent breakfast, clean room. TV did not have a remote. Coffee/tea tray only by extra charge.
It's okay, it's Budget friendly. The rooms are clean but they are very small. Even the toilets and bathrooms were very small. It's good becoz they have 2 hours of free parking but nearby on 1 minute walking distance there is cheapest parking £6 for 24 hours or you can park on pollard Street in the evening from 6 pm to 8 am it's free. The best part is you can park your car in parking and travel to the city centre in the tram just take day pass.
Hotel is very good, the rooms are clean and tidy, with just a couple of caveats. 1. a Toilet Brush would be nice to have in the toilet 2. power sockets should be on the bedside table and not hidden under the beds no one could find them 3. power sockets should be next to the mirror so we can use the hairdryer and look at what we are doing.
This is a standard ibis budget hotel and the shower is directly on the room, which may be an issue for some people. The room with the loo is tiny. When I arrived there was a kettle, a couple of tea bags and some milk but when that ran out it wasn't replenished and I was told I'd have to pay, which I thought was stingy. That said, it's right by a tram stop and easily walkable to everywhere in the city centre. It was clean, totally quiet, with a comfortable bed I slept really well and best of all I paid just 41 quid a night for the room. It's a budget hotel and if you get it at the cheapest rate, it's well worth it for a city centre base.
