Hotel was ideally located for a visit to the Etihad Stadium. Room was functional, but clean and tidy, beds excellent and room well insulated from any street noise. Parking can be a challenge on match days, we were lucky to get the last space at the tram station. Staff were excellent, very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was adequate, but not as much choice as at other IBIS hotels I have stayed at. We will stay here again next time we watch football.
Absolutely disgusting treatment, tried to charge me 495 for room when price was 360 on booking. Com , was told 375 was OK so paid it checked in went out for the night to be come back and end up been confronted by staff demanding the extra money, in front of other guests, ended up having to get our things and leave at midnight with no where else to go other than the 2 and half hours home. Was given an email address for refund of my 375 but the email address was fake . If you don't want to be ripped off I would avoid
Tiny window. TV, fixed and far away in a corner. Fake twin beds since it was a double bed with a piece of wood as a head separator. Mattress will move during the night and you end up sleeping on a plastic. No surfaces were to put stuff in the toilet so nowhere to leave your toothbrush or deodorant or toiletries. No hooks to hang towels. No hand towel. Difficult to tell if the AC was really working. With all that in mind, and not being very close to the city centre, the price end up being very high. Booked this hotel last minute for the Andrea Bocelli concert. It was the cheapest that I could find in central Manchester with good reviews. The room was clean and comfortable with a very comfortable bed and pillows, I slept very well. I did wear earplugs but that's because I am a light sleeper and I could hear the traffic outside which is normal considering we are in the middle of Manchester City centre. room could do with some updating. Would recommend.
We had a great stay — the hotel was quiet and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was okay. Perfect for a relaxing visit. Would definitely stay again!
