Came for a Man City game. While the stadium was 45 minute walk away it was one of the closest we could find. Rooms are nice. Updated bathrooms but had a huge see through window. Heads up if you are traveling with anyone you don't want to see ALL of your business. We used a sofa cushion to block the view. Breakfast was one of the best Hotel buffet ever. All was fresh and hot. They had sausage, bacon, ham, eggs fried and scrambled, potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, fresh fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt, etc. and also offers made to order dishes. There is no parking on site but the wallet next to the hotel had spots we could utilize to drop the luggage/pick it up without having to luggage it from the parking garage.
What a bar what a room what a hotel 1st time stay here. Served cocktails by Dill made me a special cocktail for my birthday and it was out of this world even though the initial espresso Martini was the best I've drank in Manchester. We salute you Voco and well done Dill keep up the good work mate. Many thanks Danny the birthday boy. Also massive thanks for the most amazing breakfast honey poached eggs excellent juices and smoothies and Breima smashed it made me feel at home. This is a great hotel and the staff really make this place special truly grateful to choose this hotel.
Room was quirky. Nice size, quiet and aircon worked well. Hotel is in a great location. Service was good but busy at check-in and had an issue with a payment, which was sorted quickly but inconvenient (reason for 4star on service) Nicely decorated for Christmas.
Excellent hotel in the center of Manchester. Room was clean and all amenities provided were satisfactory. I opted for the in room dining during breakfast which arrived hot and was tasty As a IHG member I was allowed to extend check out to 12pm which was useful as I had business calls to attend. Checkout was seamless with the express card drop off. Highly rate this hotel.
We've been multiple times & they never fail in making it an amazing stay. From smart comfy rooms, to delicious food, to the staff who do all they can to make it a memorable break. Can't recommend the place enough
