We have stayed here before, and when I booked up the room for this visit, I made a mistake and booked a regular room rather than an accessible one. As it was a busy time I couldn't change it to the room I needed, but after a couple of phone calls, it was changed for me by Emily. Even though my reservation still read as a standard room, she put my mind at ease by sending me a screen print indicating the room I needed. As for the stay itself, the staff were excellent, and the room was fantastic. For a disabled traveller, it is very convenient, as the car park isn't far away. My only criticism is that the bar seems to be run as an afterthought. On our first 2 nights, there was no whisky available at all. I would understand if we were asking for an obscure Mexican Tequila, but this is the first bar not to have any whisky at all. In the not so distant past, someone would have gone out and bought some using petty cash, but everything seems to run on computers.
A well maintained three star hotel. The breakfast spread is very good. They have an in-house restaurant where you can order lunch and dinner but they don't provide room service. That's why they get a 4 star rating. They provide all the complementary things on demand which is appreciative. The location next to Stockport train station is perfect as you can be under 15minutes in Piccadilly if you are visiting Manchester and don't want to live in the city centre.
A room and bed for the night for a quick work trip. Convenient for the railway station and a reasonably short walk to the office. I've stayed here before, when joining my employer, though I had driven them and the nearby car park is convenient but expensive. Not linked to the hotel though.
Really nice hotel next to the train station and car park very close as well. Staff is fantastic and serves nice cold larger. Only criticism is the location as not much around need to walk to get to Stockport centre, which is OK.
Very conveniently located right beside the train station. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Bed comfortable and the bathroom has a walk in shower. The included breakfast is more than sufficient to set you up for the day. Selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts. Hot food includes sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans and hash browns. Bread for toasting and croissants. Fruit juice and great selection of teas and coffees. Taxi rank right outside if you need to pop into Stockport for shopping or meals. I have stayed here a number of times and recommend it to others.
