We have stayed here several times, throughout this year, due to its location, near Train Station, University and the facts it's has access to excellent Bus links. On all the occasions we have stayed, our request for a room in a quiet floor has been fulfilled and each time we have had a fantastic stay. Breakfast has always been hot and a good selection to chose from, Beds are comfy, and shower is great. Reception staff, especially Mohamed, was very polite, kind and helpful, he recognised me from me previous stay in September, and again on our recent stay in October. Credit to all the staff, and thank you for making our stay pleasant.
Decent hotel in the city center of Manchester. Rooms are fine but not in their best condition anymore. Breakfast was pretty bad. No ham, cheese or such. Sausages were not tasty at all. Juices coming out from an automatic system so no fresh juice available. Might choose another hotel next time.
Location great and staff are friendly, but despite it's modern feel, the hotel is a bit rough around the edges. It's definitely at the lower end of what I've experienced with holiday inn express. The 2x lifts struggle to cater for the 10+ floors, the WiFi in the room was incredibly weak, the carpet had a few too many stains and the coffee at breakfast was awful. Book here for good value and central location
We paid over £100 for one night at this hotel and when we arrived the room had a foul smell. Then when I went to sit on the bed, the bottom flipped up as the leg was broken. The floor, sofa and towels all had stains on them. We ended up leaving and paying for another hotel due to how unclean and dirty this room was. I understand it's not a 5* hotel but basic cleanliness shouldn't be too much to ask for.
The location of my stay was perfect for my visit, I was going to a gig just around the corner, parking was a 5 min walk and easy to sort out, lots of food options and little shops, Breakfast was pretty good too!! Muhammed outdid himself with his service and made me and my son feel so welcome, however I won't be asking him for directions again 😂😂
