We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. We stayed in the executive room which had a full range of amenities and great city views and had access to the executive lounge where there was more fabulous views of the city and seved free alcoholic drinks and delicious snacks between 5 -7. We ate in the restaurant where the food was superb. This is a fabulous hotel. the staff in the executive lounge, restaurant, and lobby were very friendly and attentive. breakfast caters for every preference. definitely will visit again. Thank you .
Impeccable location with stellar rooms and views. From the moment of check-in and throughout my week long stay the staff was constantly happy, positive and very friendly. The hand written welcome note was a thoughtful touch (see videos). My king room on the 22nd floor had stunning views of Manchester and the pillows were divine (I had to take a picture of the tab because I need them at home)! Luxurious bed was great after work. My favorite bit was the glass ceiling above the pool and Jacuzzi, which made for a really beautiful and relaxing time. Would highly recommend and I plan to come back. Another note - I stayed in an executive king suite which gave me access to the executive lounge on the 23rd floor. The staff within the lounge were attentive each time I visited and the space felt modern with delicious food and drinks.
Great view and facilities. Has a small gym and swimming pool. Bit of a wait getting checked in otherwise it's a nice hotel, a bit more expensive than some of the others but that's reflected in the extra facilities and view.
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying in a King Executive Room on the 20th floor of the Hilton Deansgate. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with the front desk staff providing a warm welcome and a comprehensive overview of the amenities available to us. The concierge was particularly gracious, engaging us in pleasant conversation while we waited briefly in the queue. Upon entering our room, we were immediately impressed by its immaculate presentation. As we unpacked, we enjoyed a rich espresso, taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of Manchester’s skyline from our elevated vantage point. Our visit to the Executive Lounge on the 23rd floor was equally exceptional. The selection of food and beverages was generous, and the staff were both attentive and discreet, ensuring a refined and relaxing experience. For dinner, we dined at Podium, the hotel’s signature restaurant, located just across from reception. The meal was nothing short of exquisite. A particularly memorable touch was having our starter personally delivered by the chef who prepared it, accompanied by an insightful explanation of its ingredients and expected flavour profile. The attention to detail extended to the bar staff, who graciously accommodated my request for a bespoke cocktail, expertly crafted and beautifully presented by the bartender himself. The night’s rest was supremely comfortable, with a plush bed ensuring uninterrupted sleep. In the morning, the breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, offering a wide array of perfectly prepared dishes, all fresh and replenished frequently. From start to finish, our stay epitomised luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. A faultless experience—10/10. We would undoubtedly return.
Booked for 20th Anniversary. Arrived at 1pm. Room not ready and eventually got room at 4.15pm. Was told by unhelpful reception staff we guarantee the room for 4pm check-in. Extortionate considering over £200 paid for less than 24 hours. Room was average. Have stayed in Hilton hotels all over the world and this was disappointing. Ordered room service a simple burger and fries. An hour later having not arrived phoned again to be told oh sorry I remember you calling but forgot to put your order through. Compensated with a soft drink. Simply unacceptable lack of service for a Hilton. In summary definitely won't be staying again. Rude staff. Average room and facilities and wouldn't definitely consider it to be worth £200 plus for less than 24 hours.
