Positives: The room was nice, clean and warm. The staff were friendly. The gym and pool were pretty good. The breakfast was really nice. Negatives: There was no drink included with the half board evening meal. The evening meal starters were pretty good but the main meals very disappointing. The chicken burger was not that nice and the pizza was as bland and unimaginative as I've come across. The bar area where the evening meal was served was very cold and I had go back to our room to get a jumper. I'm not someone who is easily cold. I noticed all the other guests either had coats or jumpers on. I also didn't like having to pay a £50 deposit. For what? The drinks I had to purchase for the evening meal have been deducted from the deposit but I would much prefer to pay for extras as I go. I have now received an invoice with the deposit details but it's not clear on there whether the deposit balance is even going to be returned to me. Leaving this room for doubt I find extremely disappointing.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and everything was absolutely perfect. I have stayed in many places, but this one truly exceeded my expectations. The facilities are exceptional: the sauna was incredibly relaxing, and the indoor pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The gym is well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a great workout. What really sets this hotel apart are the stunning views. Whether you're by the pool or just relaxing in your room, you can enjoy breathtaking scenery that truly enhances the experience. And let’s not forget the food — it was simply outstanding. Every meal was delicious and offered a wide variety of options, making dining here a real pleasure. Overall, this hotel provides the perfect combination of relaxation and luxury, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. I can't wait to return!
Checked 2 nights 30 dec to 1 Jan experience extremely disappointing if not a nightmare for my daughter who had to change her room twice in few words hotel poorly maintained although built 2017 one elevator out of three out of order guests had to line up house keeping extremely neglecting our calls no quality control for proper refill shower gel or lotion cream breakfast on new year had dry bread which should not be presented the only bright positive thing was duty manager called Anna can’t deny her huge positive impact which highly respect
Let start that Hilton is normally where we stay. The staff were efficient and very friendly. In general a good place to stay, very close to restaurants and shops. Lounge area is nice be check, you have a nice view of the old city center. The rooms have a nice space, but because humidity, some corridors can be a little smelly and is far due renovation in some of the areas.
I never thought I’d say that you could have too much room in a hotel! But we got the pleasure of staying in the presidential suite and it was amazing. We had two very large separate bedrooms, living area and a room with a dining table. We were on the 22nd floor so we had views from three sides of the hotel including Salford Keys and the old Granada Studios plot. We also had fresh flowers and a bottle of champagne in the room. Room had tea and coffee making facilities. Check in was really good and we were super early, whilst the room wasn’t quite ready we were given keys to the executive lounge on floor 23 for drinks and snacks. Breakfast was included and both my wife and I said it was one of the best we’d had in any hotel we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot). The girl looked after us in the breakfast room very well. With our executive lounge access, it allowed us to sample the happy hour with free alcoholic drinks and food which was really tasty. We had a great nights sleep and an amazing experience from the whole team. Top Tips. There is a car propose that charges £20 per 24 hours, easy enough. City centre is easily walkable.
