Don’t usually do a review but had to leave something for our stay. Went down for the football and stayed the weekend. Big living area, bedrooms were a great size as well as the bathroom. Clean and just a nice place to stay for a few days. Trams, shopping centre and just about everything where 5/10 min walking distance. Woman at the desk was a good laugh and just a lovely person. Definitely will book this for next time I’m down 👍🏻
We just stayed 3nights in a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 adults and 1 teenager. Alison was fantastic from start to finish, from the leaving off the luggage early to leaving the luggage with her on the day of out departure. The apartment was fantastic, clean, tidy and well maintained, a well equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water. The location is amazing it's about a 2 min walk to 2 tram stops and the arndale centre is directly opposite the town house. Nothing was too much bother to Alison, we will be back again. Thank you.
A lovely hotel and an amazing experience, all made above and beyond expectations by the wonderful staff. High Street Townhouse is in a great location, slap bang in the middle of Manchester. Photos do not do it justice with the amount of space you actually get in your apartment, but still manages to maintain homey/cosy vibes. Somewhere you’re able to relax and be comfortable in. What makes the stay fantastic is how attentive and warm the staff all are! The cleaning staff make sure it’s spotless each day, they cannot do enough for you to make your apartment right! Alison is so welcoming and helpful, they really all go all out to make your stay unreal from start to finish!! Fully recommend to anyone who wants to have a home away from home, during their stay in the heart of Manchester.
Actually if you could star this place zero we would. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment in January, for a 3 night stay in November. Last night at 10.30pm we were informed that the room was no longer available 😡, we were due to stay this weekend. Absolutely shocking customer service. Would not touch them with a barge pole
I recently stayed at this property for two nights with a friend, and I must say the location was excellent. While the rates can be a bit steep for short stays, the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable. One aspect to keep in mind is that check-in is rather late, at 4 PM, and there is an additional fee for early check-in. Additionally, check-out is quite early. The security of the property was commendable; guests can use their phones as room keys, which adds a modern touch. However, the most significant issue that affected our stay was the lighting. The cold, harsh lighting in the living room, kitchen, and one of the bedroom fixtures was quite jarring and did not align with the overall ambiance of the apartment. If this lighting issue were addressed, specifically by replacing the cold fixtures with warmer, yellow-toned lighting, I would wholeheartedly recommend these apartments. Overall, the potential is there, and with a few adjustments, it could be a truly exceptional place to stay
