I booked a treatment package with the spa and was provided an appointment with Francesca for the sixth sense package. I'm SO glad that Francesca was my masseuse, I've never had any spa treatments or massages before and I struggle with anxiety, this was a big thing for me to step out of my comfort zone and I was so grateful for the effort she had put in to explain the steps to me, taking time to understand more about my health and wellbeing and offer some reassurance about the process. I was shocked at just how tense I was which was highlighted even more by how relaxed I left! The pressure was perfect, she allowed me time to totally unwind and enjoy the massage in peace and quiet after a loud and overwhelming day in the city and then she spent time focusing and advising me on exercises to help with my bruxism (jaw clenching) which was so thoughtful and valuable to me as an individual. It's my first time in Manchester and my first time having a massage and I would 100% return again just based on my experience at escape spa with Francesca. Thankyou so much for such a person centred experience 😊 xx

When I arrived the hotel directed me up a stairwell to the spa and the entrance required a keycard. I had been texting the spa manager to sort the booking so dropped her a message to let her know that I was waiting, I was told that the masseuse would come and get me. After 15 minutes of sitting in the stairwell the masseuse finally came out which was a very frustrating and uncomfortable start to what's supposed to be a relaxing experience. The massage itself was pretty good but there was a lot of people outside the treatment room who were slamming doors and wheeling noisy trollies which really ruined the experience for me. I wouldn't recommend this venue for these reasons
Lisa is absolutely amazing. It took me a while to find an affordable salon to my liking in Manchester but I'm glad I've found it. She is so friendly, chatty, funny, professional, understanding. No awkward moments ever. She gives you time and space to get ready and relax. The bench is extremely comfortable. Clean and tidy work space. Payment by card is possible.
I had an incredible facial and back massage with Lisa. Professional, thorough and bespoke treatment. I would highly recommend!
