Clean, functional and compact. Pleasant and helpful staff. Walking distance to the centre, bus and trains. Fairly quiet midweek, but I expect it could be noisier on a Friday/Saturday when people have been "out out" as some of the walls do seem thin. Biggest gripe, which I coped with for one night...PILLOWS. There were 2, each about 1 inch thick. I could have done with 5, just for myself. Would use again, but take some inflatable pillows.
Great location and perfect if you are looking for somewhere just to sleep for the night. Beds are comfy enough but I would not want 2 nights in one of them. Pillows are terrible. Small but clean shower room with fresh towels. Partial frosted glass windows offer visual protection from whoever is in the room with you, but they can still see your head and feed whilst you shower which is odd. An unnecessary design. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would I stay here again? By myself for one night - yes. With someone else or multiple nights - no.
The room was clean and comfortable. There were no tables, chairs, or complimentary kettle with coffee/tea. The bathroom was small but clean. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the city centre. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. The staff were respectful. They will only clean the room when you check out. I was there for 5 nights and if I wanted my room cleaned I had to pay. The lift/elevator was small and the screen/indicator was not functioning well at that time. The free WiFi was fast. The price for the room was, IMO, okay for the service, location, and convenience.
Good location,just walking distance to city centre. Clean room. Nice and cozy. Warm showers too! Will definitely come back!
The location of this hotel cannot be beat, you're right in the heart of Manchester and it's a great launching pad to explore the city by day and night. The staff are super friendly, and the hotel management already has a nifty and thrifty price menu for everything you might need, from a later checkout to storing your bags. The rooms are small and true to pictures you see online. The noise insulation is pretty poor and we could hear conversations from next door and above us. There are unfortunately no wardrobes, which is understandable for a lack of space, but it would have been nice to have maybe an extra shelf or two, or even a chair. Do ask for extra pillows on arrival as the pillows are rather flat.
