The hotel IS well located in the Northern Quarter, and the reception staff IS very kind. Rooms are very small, you could hardly pass Between the bed and the wall in the twin double which is a bit of a Risk. No wardrobe or places to store clothes. It works well for a one night stay or if you're only planning to sleep in the hotel. It's in the same style as some Ibis Hotels in London. Great location and affordable but just a sleeping pod.
Great budget hotel right in the centre of Manchester. Rooms were clean and did the job nicely. A little small but unbeatable for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing missing was a fridge in the room. Would definitely stay again
First off, great location, friendly staff! My room was in the basement, so the windows were at street level. You will want to keep the blinds closed unless you're fine with people being able to see in. I could also hear people outside quite clearly, so it is not the quietest place to stay with poor insulation and loud water pipes in the basement. The room is very small, fine for a solo night or two, but it would feel cramped for a longer stay or for two people. You have to pay to use the coffee machine on the ground floor, although water refills are free. Easy Hotel make you pay for hot water though if you want a cup of tea! On the plus side, the location is great, just five minutes' walk from Manchester Piccadilly along with plenty of coffee shops, the northern quarter and restaurants. Overall, decent for a short visit, but the lack of light, limited privacy, and noise are worth keeping in mind. Just remember this is a budget hotel. Some previous reviewers may have expected more than what this price range typically offers ... If you want more, then perhaps pay more.
Had a brilliant experience here - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and were super friendly throughout. Special shout out to Heather who kindly found me an ice pack when I hurt my ankle! The room was clean and perfect for a couple of days in central - had all the essentials and nice soap and body wash. They also had a filtered water tap in the hallway to top you up and a section for tea and coffee. Will be staying here again on my next visit!
Unreal place to stay. Great value for money, location couldn’t have been any more perfect as well. Staff are amazing and 24/7. The room cleanliness was really good as well. Can’t recommend this place highly enough enough. 5 stars!
