Rooms are fine but small. Nice to have a fridge in the room. Bathrooms are nice and modern. All the lifts were broken while we were there and one won't be fixed til 2025 according to signage. That said, hotel was very nice and credited us with honors points for the inconvenience. Overall worth staying at if they get the lift issue resolved.
This was a very pleasant experience. Hotel was comfortable, well appointed, and the staff was excellent. We ate at their restaurant and had good service and delicious food. It is centrally located and cross from Manchester Piccadilly, so convenient. The bar was outstanding. Good selection of cocktails and incredible staff. Charlie was our barkeeper 2 nights and made great drinks, conversation, had high levels of knowledge of the spirits, and gave us recommendations on our local adventure. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Piccadilly and, unfortunately, encountered serious security issues that marred my experience. While the hotel itself has a great location and offers a comfortable stay, I was very disappointed with the lack of security on-site. During breakfast, my personal items were stolen from the breakfast lounge, which is concerning as one expects a secure environment at a reputable hotel like Hilton. When I reported the theft, I felt the staff’s response was less proactive than I had hoped, especially in assisting with the police investigation. I understand that incidents can happen anywhere, but the hotel could have been more cooperative and supportive during such a distressing situation. For future guests, I recommend being vigilant with your belongings at all times and not assuming they will be safe, even in the breakfast area. I hope the hotel management considers enhancing their security measures to prevent future incidents, as I believe this would greatly improve the guest experience.
Stayed here recently for several nights. We had a very pleasant stay here. Excellent staff and service. Excellent choice and range for breakfast. Restaurant was very good for dinner too. My thanks to the staff who helped us out especially Smruthitha and Junior. All the staff were helpful during our stay. Highly recommended.
We've just had a fabulous night stay at the Double Tree Hilton. I used a Virgin voucher towards a one night stay with a bottle of prosecco 🍾 breakfast & late checkout. Unfortunately the lifts were not working but I asked for a room on the second floor which we were duly given. We were also given a voucher each for a free drink in the bar. All the staff were very helpul and friendly....All in all a very pleasant stay! 👍
