The hotel itself is lovely and the facilities are great, the only down side to this place is the customer service, mainly reception as we were met with other staff who were nice but one thing being is that check in is 4pm which isn’t very ideal, I had emailed twice asking if early check in was available and told no I’d have to pay for an extra night, but once arriving early to drop our bags in and ask if by chance a room was free, multiple guests were checked in early, which apparently wasn’t possible ? I had also later in the evening queried the reception about the parking to which he responded I hadn’t paid, I told him I did and he seemed very adamant I hadn’t and told us we had to pay and was smirking thinking he was right ( we had paid and I had to show him my email ) Breakfast was also lovely but unfortunately reception has been a let down, first person we spoke to was lovely we didn’t have issues but certain people weren’t the best.
The rooms are good, but there are several important notes: - There is no phone in the room to call room service, you have to go down to the reception. - There are no toothbrushes and toothpaste, and there is no tissue paper in the rooms. - we found one of the pillow dirty - The breakfast is good, but the options are very limited. - AC not working and the weather is very cold - A deposit of 100 pounds was requested upon arrival.
We stayed at this place for 2 nights , When we check in lovely staff was nice and helpful . I asked them would I be able to do late check out . Paying it’s not a problem . They said if it helps we can have 12 o’clock check out . And I said it’s fine . Air conditioning wasn't working so we been told to open window. . (It was cold outside so we didn’t mind ) when it was time to check out I been told the latest check out has to be 11:30 . The man at reception was very rude . Refused put our bags in luggage storage . He nearly had a fight with the my boyfriend . This was just not acceptable!!
Very good location and spacious apartments. Positive: - Kitchen and appliances were spotless and modern - Big spacious bathroom with bathtub - Tv in living and room - Very comfortable bed and bedding - Pool and jacuzzi - Great breakfast - Umbrella rental for 48hr at 3£ Negatives: - You have to take out your own rubbish daily - We stayed for 4 nights and asked to have the room serviced in two ocassion, on both times housekeepers were "too busy" , I told them we had no rubbish bags and the floor needed to be vacuum because of our toddler. We only got towels replaced and used our own shopping bags for the rubbish.
Just the right location for exploring Manchester city centre, 2 minute walk from victoria station 3 minutes to the arndale centre ! Loads of lovely foody places and pubs near by. The hotel is lovely , staff are great and the room was very clean ,nice and spacious with lots of amenities. Also as it an aparthotel you have the choice of cooking for yourself in the fully equipped kitchen. The pool and gym are clean and well maintained, really good place to stay. Amazing choice at breakfast, full continental and English or just toast and tea if you prefer. Parking is just across the road you just have to book your car in as you check in .
