We had 4 of us in a two bed apartment, it was great to have the space available in the apartment rather than a hotel room. Kitchen had good utensils, was nice to have a bottle of water and small milk in the fridge on arrival to enable us to make some hot drinks. Tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo and body wash are all supplied. Two dishwasher tablets and two washing machine tablets are also supplied in the apartment which was a nice touch. Washing up liquid, tea towels and bath towels are also supplied. The apartment was nice and clean and we had a lovely view out the windows. Shower was powerful and bath was nice to have. TV in the bedrooms and front room as well as a radio. From WiFi in the apartment was good and plenty of signal. Reception were friendly on check in and out and also when we were leaving our entering the building. There is a bin store on the floor we were staying, so not far to go to take the rubbish out. There were a couple of things that moved it down to 4 stars - we could hear water going down the pipes from the apartment above, this isn't too bad, but early in the morning when there are no other sounds can seem quite loud. Also the pillows were really hard, which we found uncomfortable. It also would have been nice to have some spare bin bags available for when you've taken your rubbish out. We would consider staying here again.
When it came time to check out, the staff barged in and tell me how I was in the wrong for not informing front desk of my late checkout. They hadn’t yet called or knocked, so the strange lady staring at me in my underwear was how I figured out I was expected to have left by then. It was very weird - she wouldn’t leave despite me asking politely 4 times. Shortly after I explained I will be leaving asap, front desk calls me and tells me, again, how i made a mistake. Annoyed by this abrupt and unpleasant first 5 minute of my day, I tell front desk that I had not been told when I need to check out - he was immediately defensive, saying front desk always tells customers check out times. I admit, the check out time was written in my room key packet, but truthfully I didn’t read it as I was in a rush when I initially arrived. The front desk team then calls me after I had left the building, telling me I need to pay them for late checkout out fee. He was extremely rude, unpleasant, and accusatory. He wasn’t even the guy who checked me in. The guy who checked me in was very nice, normal. He upgraded my room with it me asking, so I have nothing but good things to say about him. It’s the staff from the next day that absolutely ruined it.
I recently stayed at Supercity by Aparthotels, Manchester for 19 days, and my experience was truly enhanced by the exceptional service provided by Tony. From the moment I arrived until the very last minute of my stay, Tony's amazing attitude and helpful nature stood out. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of, making my stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. His dedication to service and his friendly demeanor made a significant difference, and I cannot thank him enough for making my stay so memorable. Highly recommend!
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The service was impeccable, and I have to give a special shout-out to Tony and Achraf. It was great experience to stay in supercity. Nice welcoming from the staff. It was lovely stay. Great reception. Especially Mo was doing great while checking in so friendly. Great view all over Manchester. Nice apartment clean looks great. We are Looking forward to stay with my partner all the way from Amsterdam.
