Do not book this hotel. The staff were NOT accommodating and VERY rude, we payed EXTRA for a room with three guests and when we arrived to the hotel to check in, the staff insisted that we did not pay extra and our room only included two guests even though we showed them full receipts and payments. And they expected us to pay even more to add another guests. They were extremely rude. They also did not allow us to go into our room even though we had ID and they told us they cannot do anything about it which was unprofessional. We ended up cancelling our reservation and they said it was non refundable even thought the situation was completely their fault!
Lets go straight to the point: Sorry, you can NOT rent out a room without windows AND ventilation! Yes, I got a good price, yes, I agreed on a room without a view. But I did not agree on a room without fresh air. Slept with an open door out in the hallway, where air were only slightly better than the room itself. This is so poor, is it even legal?
The rooms were clean and spacious. The only fault was that the room was much too hot. There was no way to turn the heating down. The staff provided us with two fans, but the room was still unbearably hot.
Stayed here for a concert as it was ideal walking distance to the arena and for shopping the next day. The staff on both check in and check out were really friendly and professional and even let us keep our suitcases behind reception while we went shopping. I also like that the guard was very thorough too he checked that we were guests on his list so that there's nobody coming in that isn't meant to be there. Only cons for me were that I booked a room with no window it didn't have a ceiling light only lamps so the room was really dark we woke up at 8am and I thought it was middle of the night 🤣 and the room was really warm so we had to have aircon on all night which gave me a bit of a bad chest. Room was clean a few stains on the wall and hairs in the bath but nothing major, would stay here again if I was in Manchester for the night
I reviewed this hotel as it is one of the lowest rated hotels in the UK - I thought I was in for a rough night a double room with no windows but when checking in I asked for a complimentary upgrade and I got one! That’s a star ⭐️I got two double beds so I put them together to make a MEGA BED! My room was very clean but I didn’t use any of the kettle (if you know you know) but for presentation that’s a star! ⭐️ I had my very own balcony (kind of) and I got to see Manchester Piccadilly from it! In the evening I went down to the bar but it was closed… I realised the hotel didn’t want me drinking and damaging my liver, that’s a star ⭐️ In the morning I headed down for my complementary breakfast and I had no complaints! 5 stars 🤩
