NEVER AGAIN - I recently took two suits to be cleaned here. When I went to collect then a week later they could not be found. They asked for some time to allow them to find the suits and I agreed. Having called back a couple of times I asked to speak to the owner. I was given her number. She asked for more time and I again agreed but stressed that my son was attending a wedding the following week and needed his suit back soon. The owner promised that if they didn't turn up then my son should buy a new suit and she would "come to some arrangement". As time went by and the wedding approached I spoke to the owner again who told me to tell my son to buy a new suit. This he did and headed down south for the wedding. A few days before the wedding I got a call to say the suits had been found, apparently having been given to another customer. I called the owner again and explained that my son had now left for the wedding and it was too late for his old suit to be sent to him. At this point she became rather rude asking "what do you want me to do about it?". I felt some at least partial recompense was due. After all, my son had bought a suit he no longer needed. She felt that not charging us for the cleaning was enough!!!!. Her attitude on the phone was curt and abrupt. She said her business partner (husband) would call me to discuss further but he never did. I wouldn't recommend this shop and having taken my suits there for many years I will never go again !!!
I don't normally post reviews but felt the service I received warranted some recognition. Took some suits to be cleaned at really short notice. Explained the urgency of needing them back quickly. They couldn't' do enough to help and I had my suits back by 10am the following morning despite having dropped them off late in the afternoon. Can't thank them enough and would definitely use and recommend them.
I took my 36 year old wedding dress in to be cleaned! It had a few marks on and the bottom of the dress was very dirty it had also gone off white. I didn’t hold out much hope of it coming out any better. I went to collect it 2 weeks later and it was beautiful, all the marks had gone and it looked white again! It actually looked like new. Would highly recommend them for any garments but most definitely your precious delicate ones
Poor experience and not at all what I expected. Three nights this week I arrived before the time they state they close on my receipt and they were already closed. When I asked what time they closed last night the lady said about 4.45. I got no apology for three wasted journeys just that she had told the owner to.update the times as they are old and not correct. I paid my £60 to which the phone rang and she walked off without even a thank you and goodbye. Tried to support a local independent business but will not be back there again and would not recommend. DISAPPOINTING!
I had a complaint with the owner. I spoke to him in a very polite and carm manner. A very rude person I can not call a gentleman as that was certainly not the case. I would strongly recommend all to stay away as when I spoke to the owner his simple reply was a vile list of abuse and swearing. Is this how you should speak to people? Strongly recommend you check reviews on Yell and Granada Cleaners Manchester as it's the same company.
