Rooms seem very dated with a lot of small maintenance items not kept on top of. Biggest issue is the paper thin walls and noise from other guests at all hours. Complained to reception and they did nothing until I complained about second time. Pretty sleepless night, cheap enough but would avoid if you actually want some rest. Mentioned to reception again at check-out. They offered some free pastries from the breakfast. This was politely declined by myself.
Pro: Close to airport, food at restaurant was decent (usual pub food) and staff were polite. Con: Bed sheets were stained and found multiple hairs.
The staff were so welcoming and very friendly couldn't do enough for you, the man at the Bar was so very friendly he evening invited me to a new reggae night up and coming which I'm really looking forward to joining. I will defo go back and would recommend to anyone staying in or around stockport.
Had a really wonderful experience staying at this hotel for a few nights whilst attending a course at the nearby Wilmslow Conference Centre and couldn't believe the price. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and even an iron and ironing board, and the bathroom was very highly specified including a mirror that doesn't mist up! The full english breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful so it made for a perfect stay. Thank you Pinewood. Hopefully I will be back one day.
Had a great breakfast to start the day, was surprised to be offered additional breakfast items like poached eggs & porridge. The creamy chocolate drinks are really nice. The supervisor, Dean explained the breakfast buffet in great detail. Thank you, will definitely return, even just for breakfast
