Laura and Hayley are such a fantastic team at the Ashworth Optician. We took one of our student for a eye check the service we received was a top notch, Laura took her time to check on the non verbal student she was so pleasant to explain every detail about the student eye care and Hayley on the other hand was kind enough to vacate her seat for the student who was very sensitive to the lightning to get a shade from her seat corner. I would recommend Ashworth Optician to any would be eye patient.
Lovely lovely people who care and have time. It’s nice to have the old fashioned personal touch which is absent from the big chains. Would recommend without hesitation
Brought my children for their annual eye test. Was an excellent experience. Both the manager and optometrist were very patient with them, made them feel welcome and at ease. With the additional bonus of a lovely biscuit! Big thanks to Hayley and Lara.
Had a fantastic appointment with Ashworth opticians today. The optician I saw was so extremely thorough. She took her time to explain everything to me she answered any questions I had and was so transparent with the cost of any treatment that I might need, which was very refreshing! I then went to see Lauren or Laura sorry? And she was so kind! She took her time and went through all the options that were available to me to suit my Budget. She just showed so much kindness and compassion. Haley on reception was so lovely too definitely the perfect choice for front of house!! I’ve been to few different opticians in the past some big names some smaller names but never had such a thorough transparent appointment like the one at Ashworths - eyesight is such an important thing just as important as a doctors referral to a specialist and Ashworth Opticians would definitely be my first choice, thank you so much for your time today!!
Wow! Lara the optometrist is a credit to her profession and Ashworth Opticians. This is not my usual opticians but I was referred here by my opticians as they were unable to see me and I needed an emergency appointment. I arrived for my appointment with Lara at 5pm on a Thursday. After listening to my concerns, Lara explained that she needed to put drops into my eyes to dilate the pupils and I wouldn’t be able to drive for 3-4 hours afterwards. Due to the time of the day and the fact that I had unknowingly driven, Lara was unable to help me then. However, she insisted that she would see me the following day on a Friday-a day she doesn’t usually work-as she didn’t want to leave my problem until after the weekend. True to her word, she came to work the next day, on her day off, to see me. She is so kind, caring and professional. She went ‘above and beyond’ and I left the opticians reassured that all was well. Lara left the opticians at the same time as me to enjoy the rest of ‘her day off work’. Thank you Lara.
