I have been using this as my opticians for a number of years, and there’s a few reasons I keep returning. I have always been given great service by all staff I’ve met, and both of the optometrists I’ve seen have always taken the time to go over everything with me - everything feels thorough and not rushed. I have never felt pressured to buy glasses (unlike some high street opticians) but on the couple of occasions I’ve decided to go ahead I’ve always found the staff members to be genuinely helpful, help me find the right frames and the right look, and just generally always a positive interaction. Even weeks after the fit Ive returned to have the glasses readjusted and been met with a smile and they are happy to resolve the issue. Sometimes it is hard to get through on the phone, but they do allow messages to be left and I’ve had my calls returned when I’ve done so. Overall, a great little in-store gem, and the price you pay is extremely generous considering the high quality of the testing.
I have had my glasses made by asda for over 10 years. I cannot fault them and never had a problem. i always get transition lenses great for outside the glasses darken in the sun its a must if you wear them all the time. The staff are brilliant and not pushy..i highly recommended asda eastlands
Fantastic. Cant thank them enough. The ladies that work there are fantastic and go above and beyond. THANK YOU
Asda optician Eastland Etihad Manchester , my child’s glasses I usual go to specsaver but for the service I wanted was expensive so I went to Asda, after 3 months glasses frame was rusty inside, returned and manager said she would change and if it continues she will report to the manufacturer, new glass came after very long wait and this time it took less than 2 months rust at the same places, returned to Asda and manager became Juda, she initially refused to exchange saying she sold thousands and no one came , she had an attitude , I told her we are not anyone and every case is different, she agreed and changed ,we waited again and almost forgot that we were waiting for an appointment,we picked up glasses and the optician said the lenses were wrong sized so he retuned then to manufacturer again, today we picked up and the glasses showing double visions, this lady manager was in denial and saying she did her job correctly and there is nothing wrong with the glasses and even she is saying it is impossible to have a double vision while my child is saying this is what she sees, she kept saying that my child is lying ,she did her job correctly and because the glasses are new she will get used of it, so she said because she replaced the glasses she should take the old one and let my child wear the faulty glasses, we took the glasses home but we decided to go and pay for another place , so don’t go for cheap Asda and go for quality somewhere else and I am writing a complaint about this lady attitude, getting paid thousands of NHS funds for faulty glasses, herself she says because my child eye test was 9 months so her pupils have grown , so I asked does she need another test? She said no until July so how can she wear wrong size glasses. A complaint is in the post
Asda opticians at Eastlands, Manchester: absolutely excellent all round. My eye sight is a bit complex, and Lesley the OCT technician was simply the best as was Qasim the optometrist. He checked my eyes very fully and kept me very well informed. Totally recommend their brilliant staff
